I know I am way late with giving away the money to bless someone in our community. But, I believe that God wanted it this way. I am not a member of Cornerstone but my daughter and grandchildren are and I visit church with her occasionally. I was at the service when the envelopes were passed out. I had $15 in my envelope. I have been carrying the envelope in my purse since that day. I don't work outside the home and am not in contact with many people on a daily basis. I felt such a burden to give the money to the person that God chose. I had asked Him to present me with the opportunity to give the money away numerous times and had tried to make it happen myself but hadn't felt that God wanted me to push it. Just last week I told God that I knew when the time was right he would present me the opportunity and I wasn't going to worry about it any longer. So last evening a number of really unusual things happened in the span of 5 minutes and we quickly ended up in Midwest City to meet my daughter and then on to a Tee Ball game that we hadn't planned on attending. We stopped by Denney's afterwards. While finishing our meal a group of guys came in with vulgar words on their t-shirt and tatoos, earrings, etc. I had a dark heavy feeling and just wanted to get my husband out of there because he was going to say something to them about the disgusting words on their clothing. It would not have been good. Anyway, as we were paying the cashier in conversation she stated that she was really tired and had been working since 7:00 a.m. but that was okay because she really needed the money. I asked her what was going on that she would be working such long hours and she said that her house had burned in the recent fires. Her mom, and 2 sisters were left with nothing and no insurance on the house. I immediately knew that God had presented me with the right person and reached for the envelope and she said she wasn't going to take my money. I told her the story and how long I had had the envelope in my purse and that the money was for her. She hugged me and when we got in the car, lump in my throat and tears in my eyes my husband said, that was amazing the contrast I just witnessed of darkness we felt from the guys that came in and the light in that young woman. All I can think of is what else we can do to help her and her family. I believe that God will show us. What a blessing we witnessed! Thank you God and thank you Cornerstone!

Steve and I were at home in St. Louis over the Christmas holidays and met one of our friends for dinner one evening. When we made plans she mentioned her cousin would be joining us, but when we arrived, there was another gentleman with her. During most of the dinner conversation I was catching up with Dawn, so it wasn't until about an hour and a half into dinner that I began speaking with other gentleman when I asked him how long he knew Dawn. He told me he didn't know her and that he had just met her while they were waiting for us to arrive. Hmmm...I thought, kind of weird, but super nice of my friend Dawn to invite this stranger who was alone to have dinner with us. So about another half hour later, Steve elbows me because our new friend had asked for the check and was buying everyone's dinner. I asked him what he was doing and he said he wanted to pay for our dinner because he believed in "paying it forward" and all he asked for in return was that we pray for his best friend's 7 year old son who was fighting a rare form of cancer at St. Jude's in Memphis, TN. I insisted we would pray for Robbie and that he didn't need to buy our dinner, but he insisted even more on "paying it forward". We've been praying for Robbie every day since. So a week and a half later we are back at home when pastor delivers his message on "paying it forward". Whoa. How strange...this is not a phrase you hear very often and now we were being touched by it twice within a week and half. God must be trying to teach us something. So as I'm listening to the message and find out that we will be given money to bless someone else, my friend Natalie is instantly laid on my heart. God immediately confirmed it when Courtney leaned over and whispered "We could give it to Natalie". So after I got home and opened my envelope I knew that $10 wasn't enough for our big God. So a few days later I began praying about it. The first number was $330, the second was $337, the third was $343 and the fourth was $1343. What? I don't think so. I immediately stopped praying. I simply didn't want to hear it or believe it. So later that afternoon Natalie called me and told me she had lost her job a few days prior. I knew this was not good because she had been unemployed for several months before getting this job she had for only a month and her mom had been in ICU at a hospital an hour from where she lived for two and a half months. I knew with the daily hospital trips and only one income that the bills had to be stacking. So oh my gosh, was that really God speaking to me? At this point I called Steve and told him about my morning with God and then my conversation with Natalie that afternoon and asked him to pray about it. At first I was thinking I was making these numbers up, but was I? So that night at church I prayed more and the final number of $1334 burned into my soul so deeply, that I knew it was God. Steve prayed and I prayed. On Saturday I sent them a card with a letter explaining everything that had happened regarding our first experience with "paying it forward" at the restaurant in St. Louis to this one at church, and we knew it was from God. We sent them the check and the $10 that was in the envelope. Because of the holiday, they didn't receive it until Friday, January 25. I left work early so Natalie was not able to reach me, so Craig called Steve. Steve immediately called me and told me it was the most emotional conversation he had ever been a part of. Craig told him that he and Natalie were both praying and fasting every day. On his lunch breaks he would go to an empty hangar and pray to God asking where their next house payment was going to come from. And here it was. The amount we sent them was within $10 of their house payment and another loan payment that was due. Wow. God is so amazing. At first it was tough to be obedient because that sure is a lot of money to us, but it's not for God. And in the end, I really think we are more blessed than they are. Thank you Pastor for following God's plan and allowing this opportunity to be given to us. Thank you God for this incredible experience and for being the awesome God you are. We love you Cornerstone!!

I had a hard time with this project because I tend to be a procrastinator and Pastor asked that we give our money in that first week. Well, I sure knew this would be a trial for me. My husband and I only took one envelope for the two of us, so we began praying over who it should go to. I felt in my heart that the Lord had someone specific and even something specific we were supposed to do with the money. We had a couple ideas, but nothing seemed like the right fit, so we just kept praying. Well, sometime the week after the money was given, the Lord finally told me to whom the money was supposed to go... I have been having my hair done by a lady since we moved here and have been inviting/encouraging her to come to Cornerstone with her two kids and husband if he would come. She has never so far come to service that I know of. But I just knew the money was for her and God wanted to make her know of His love for her and what a beautiful woman He thinks she is. My husband agreed. So, I made plans to buy her some flowers and take them over to the salon with enough money for her to have a nice lunch. Then, I wanted her to use the rest of the money for her first customer to bless them also. But here is the kicker: The day I was going to take her the money that ice storm hit and my son and I did not leave the house for 4 days. So, not only had two weeks passed before I knew who and what to do with the money, but a third week too. Well, when I took her the money and flowers today, she said I did not know how great this was to her and how she needed it. She felt blessed and had tears in her eyes. I told her about the project. I told her that she was God's valentine and that He loves her infinitely and she is a beautiful woman. Through it all, I felt like I had waited so long that the money might not be blessed, but the Lord always shows himself doesn't He? The lady told me that her son has been attending Catalyst services occasionally. I thought I even saw him there once, but I was not sure. I am going to continue praying that God is planting seeds for that family and they know of His love for them!!

My envelope contained $100.00. I prayed for God to lead me to the person I was supposed to help. In a conversation with my best friend, God spoke to me through her as she mentioned a family member struggling to pay her bills. I went to the city water department and added $20.00 of my own money and paid her water/trash bill for her. God was not finished with me yet. He spoke yet again to me about helping another in need. This time it was a place and not a person. I ran into a friend who runs Eagle Christian Ministries in Del City (you can check them out at www.eaglechristianministries.com). They are a non-profit organization that helps men who have drug addictions to overcome those addictions with counseling and a safe place to stay in a Christian environment. They do this free of charge. I matched the money I gave earlier by giving the money I earn babysitting and gave it to the Eagle Christian Ministries. God has Blessed my life in many ways!

We have a co-worker who is in need of help. Along with the $5.00 I gave, my co-workers also gave to her and we were able to help her and her family.

I received $10.00 in my envelope. I have been witnessing to a man that I work with who is a non-believer. He is a temporary/seasonal worker and he and his family don't have much money. Most days he goes without eating lunch. He hesitated, but I took him out to lunch with the money and told him where it was from. It is my hope that I planted a seed and that with a little more witnessing, he may find God.

Last Tuesday my Co-worker (whom I've known for 15 years or more) and I were having a conversation about church growth and about Pastor's preaching sermons that pierced our hearts. Well, tithing came up. . .this subject has always been a sore spot with him. Right now, he's battling financial difficulties. He truly believes God favors his helping his cousin pay for his bills. I've learned not to argue, but just listen. One of my prayers is to tell the truth without breaking people's spirits. Anyway, I shared with him how Pastor Ron said that tithing is about faith--letting God know we trust Him totally. After which I explained to him that tithing was something I personally must master this year because God is too good and I do trust Him. And until God gets into our pockets and pocketbooks, we're not converted. Well, this did get his attention--like it did mine when I heard it. He paused and said that he must tithe because he's believing God for a car and a home. This was a perfect opportunity for me to share the financial blessing ($5) from the church. He had just happened to need $1.25 for bus fares to get home that day. Time to time he'd have to walk home if he didn't have enough money. So, after I shared how our church is believing to be debt free and how Marcus and I are believing to have a new home, he felt so blessed. He said he MUST share with his pastor what we were doing at Cornerstone. And in the future, he wants to try not to make excuses for not tithing. Boy, was this God--majorly! We both felt blessed and our conversation ended great! I felt so good! I gave my co-worker $2.50 more. Pastor, thank you for your heart to love and teach.

Today I gave my son in law the money Pastor Ron gave out, I told him we were doing something different and sowing a seed and the money has been prayed over and blessed. And I wanted to give it to him and his family so they could be blessed. They have having a hard time financially and personal problems. Pablo asked if he was supposed to give it to someone and I said no and he said thank you. Thank you Jesus!

My name is Sherry Gilmore and I am a member of Cornerstone. I raised a lot of foster kids in my life time and right now I have 4 grown foster boys that I brought here to Oklahoma with me that I have raised for the last 15 years of their life. The boys are all grown now and out on their own, never been in any trouble and all working and one in the Air Force. One of them is struggling trying to make ends meet cause his car broke down and they are trying to get it fixed and still pay bills and buy food. I found out that he has no food in his apartment, so I am blessing him with the $10.00 that I have to plant a seed with and adding more to it to give him for some food to last him a while. I have always taught them to put their faith in God and trust in Him and he will never forsake you in your time of need. He was so overwhelmed and thankful and is coming to church with me this morning, which is my prayer to bring them all to Christ and get baptized.

Thank you so much for the seed offering you gave us to bless someone with and the opportunity to share Jesus with others. I am believing with you for the miracle of Cornerstone to be debt free. I planted the seed offering you gave me into the lives of several people. The first lady was getting gas and I asked her if she attended a church and went on to share with her the miracle of seed faith that is taking place at Cornerstone. She was a bit surprised to receive money from a stranger and she said she had never heard of a church doing what we are doing. She went on to say that she has heard a lot of good things about Cornerstone and she would like to come to the church. I also planted the seed offering into the life of a lady who stopped into my office. She had come in to ask where she could get some food for her family. I gave her one of our brochures with a list of numbers to call. As she was leaving, I called her back and gave her some money. She was a bit shocked. With tears in her eyes, she asked me if I would mind if she gave me a hug. Her son asked if he could give me a hug too. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to give unto others. Thank you again for blessing our lives.

Bill and Jean

When we received our "seed envelopes" I immediately started praying that the Holy Spirit would direct me to the person I was suppose to bless,as did Bill. Everywhere we went I would pray that I would know definitely who we were to bless. It was nearly 2 weeks before the direction came. Prior to getting the seed money, I had been in to Chili's for lunch a couple times and had been waited on by this young lady. She really impressed me with her energy and willingness to make our dining experience enjoyable. She was swamped with customers both times, but she never uttered an unkind word to anyone and always had a smile on her face. I felt led to have dinner there before church on Wednesday evening and felt that that was where we were to sow our seed. This was alright with Bill so we went there. My little waitress was not working that night so I figured I had misunderstood the Holy Spirit. Well, thank God that He is in control. While waiting for our order, our waitress seated a couple of girls in the booth behind us. In a matter of minutes a third girl came bounding up to them and breathlessly told them that they had to buy some candy bars she was selling to help a friend of hers pay for her trip to Africa she was going on with her church as a missionary group. I immediately knew and looked at Bill and he agreed that this was where we were to sow our seed. I called the young woman over and asked about her friend and found out she is a member of a sister church. We asked her to give her friend the seed money and to tell her that God loved her, Cornerstone loved her, and we loved her. We explained what our church was doing and that she should go and tell everyone she met that Jesus loved them. It felt wonderful to be a blessing to someone and to think what God can do through Cornerstone's generosity and the young woman. By the way, we declined the candy bars! Thank you Pastor Ron and Carol for giving us the opportunity to show God's love and abundant goodness.

The Glasses

We apologize for being so late in answering where we utilized GOD and Cornerstone's money in this project. We prayed about it and decided to give the 30 dollars to the woman who is an assistant to our local veterinarian. She is a single Grandmother raising a mentally CHALLENGED grandchild. However, I now feel maybe we did it wrong because I simply sent the money to her anonymously and did not explain that it was a project of Cornerstone Church, and a gift from GOD. My only excuse is that knowing how fiercely independent she is, she might feel obligated to return some kind of favor to us. I now know after reading other's stories that we could have done this in a better way. So----in the near future we plan on sending her another gift from GOD and Cornerstone, through us, and doing it in such a way, GOD and Cornerstone will get the Glory. And, she will understand completely the concept of sowing seeds and its rewards. (We will do better the next time)--PRAISE GOD!

So Blessed to Be a Blessing!

After receiving my seed money, I immediately thought of a friend, who lives in a different state, who may need to be blessed. So that next week-end, I traveled and had made arrangements to meet with her, but she called and told me that she was unable to make it to meet me that week-end. So I drove home wondering if she was really the person that I was to sow this seed in and asked the Lord to reveal to me who I was to give the seed to. A few days later, I was at work and a man walked in, who I had just recently learned was homeless (he had been a customer for many months, but we didn't know of his circumstances until much later). The Lord laid it on my heart to sow that seed in him. So I talked with him and gave him the money I had received and told him I was blessing him with this money. He tried to hand it back and told me that he didn't need it. I told him that it was a gift from myself and my church and after talking with him a bit more, he took it. Well, a couple of days later he came back into my work and told me that he had known of someone else who needed help and he had passed that money on to that other person who was in need. Talk about paying it forward or Setting it N Motion! Thank you Pastor Ron for this sermon series. This series has spoke to me deeply and I have been SO blessed to be a blessing! And I plan to continue to Pay it Forward and sow seeds for my harvests! God bless you!

Unexpected Blessing From On High

Our names are Mike and Patricia. We received a SetNMotion envelope from one of your members. My husband had just had surgery on his shoulder and we found out that we were going to be running tight on the finances for a while as well as being behind on one bill in particular that I had been praying about because I had no idea how I was going to be able to pay this cut off notice that I had received. I knew that God would make a way for us, because he always has in the past. The day after Mike's surgery, my uncle came to visit him to see how he was doing. He began to tell us about where he is going to church. Us living here in OKC I had wondered where they were attending so that we may try it out and hopefully find a church in which we were both comfortable. After him telling us where, I had made the plans to go to service on that following Sat evening. But my uncle began to tell us stories about the church and some of the things that they have going on there. He began the story about the SetNMotion project. Why they were doing it, and some stories of other members what they had done with theirs. He also began to speak a little about his envelope that he received. I'm thinking the whole time that what a beautiful story and an amazing project this was. As he was ending his story on how he came up with the decision on what to do with his seed, I looked up and he was saying "The Lord told me this was to go to you" He has an envelope in his hand pointing it at me. I immediately began to cry. Because I knew right there that he was able to sew his seed and bless someone in need and answer a prayer with one envelope. I TOLD YOU GOD WOULD MAKE A WAY FOR ME AND HE DID. My uncle had no idea of the financial situation, BUT, God Did!!!!!! Thank you lord for the blessing that you laid upon our lives. Thank you Cornerstone for this wonderful program. May the Lord so richly bless you uncle, the church and other members involved in the program. Isn't GOD GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And by the way I attended the church with my mother that following sat evening and really enjoyed it. I will be returning with my husband.

Soon-To-Be-Members

The first blessing bestowed on our family from Set N Motion had nothing to do with giving away the money. You see, my husband was "on the fence" about joining Cornerstone. Our children loved Cornerstone, I loved Cornerstone, but my husband was hesitant. I was trying to be patient (sort of) and praying that he, too, would want to join - and SOON. As we discussed after service the rather surreal experience of TAKING from the plate (bucket), my husband shared with me that when Pastor announced we would be participating in a second offering, my husband was ready to walk out the door. However, once he heard the what's and whys of Set N Motion, he knew in his heart that Cornerstone should be OUR church. Now for the blessing of being a blessing. Because my husband left town for a business trip the day after Set N Motion began, I had the privilege of giving both envelopes away (we matched the money). My husband knew immediately that he wanted his gift to go to a woman who had sat in front of us in church the previous Wednesday. I promised to look for her on the next Wednesday, which I did. I felt nervous but she was so gracious and glad to receive! She knew immediately that she would give it to a family member who was going through tough times. Talk about paying it forward! We asked our kids who they would want to have the money and they both named my son's friend's family. They don't have much and the dad has been laid off of work. Honestly, part of me wished they hadn't named this family. It would have been easier to give it to a stranger, I think, because I got all wrapped up in whether they would think I was looking down at them, but God would NOT leave me alone and I finally worked up the courage after reading my daily devotion to drive right over to their house and hand the mom the money. She was hesitant at first, but I insisted that it was a gift with no strings attached, and she took it with a smile. Amazing what God can do with 30 bucks! I guess Pastor is right, God isn't in recession.

I gave my envelope to my unemployed son and family (wife and 2 children).  He said he only had 30$ for groceries after paying rent.  He went to the store with $45 instead. He couldn't believe the church would give members money to give away.  I told him not giving away money—sowing seeds! I also took the opportunity to brag on the grace of Jesus.

It took me most of  the week to give my seed away.  I was , kind of trying, to find someone who could eventually join, or be independent enough to bring themselves to church.  I reminded myself that GOD gives the increase.  On Saturday Jan 17, 2009, I called this young lady, La keshia, who lives on the next block from my Mother and me.  I explained to her Mother who I represented and what we were trying to do. When I gave the $10.00 to Lakeshia, who has a speech impediment and may be slightly retarded, she tried to explain that she only had one pamper for her little girl.  She also told me her birthday was Monday, Jan. 19th.  I took her to "Family Dollar" to get some diapers. I know Lakeshia because the bus driver at Green Pastures C.O.C., no longer picks anyone up;  so she knocks on our door every Sunday morning wanting to go early to get breakfast.

My family and I were out to dinner, when we noticed a group of people harassing a waiter who, in my opinion, was very excellent. He was very overwhelmed with business and was upset about being harassed. So as we left, for his excellent work, I gave the waiter the ten dollars given to me by CORNERSTONE to be sewn plus an extra five dollars of mine. I told him "GOD BLESS YOU," and left. I am so very excited to have done this good deed. Thanks to JESUS CHRIST, I was able to brighten someone else's day AND sew seed. Thank-You to Cornerstone Church and to THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.

last week I gave the money to my mother's aid. She is really wonderful, and thinks of everyone else, except herself. She had tears in her eyes, when I gave her the money, because of financial and family hardships. Just this week she found out her mom had cancer, and her dad has had several strokes, to the point where he is almost paralyzed. She has a son 16, who is helping out. Her husband just told her he was getting a divorce, so she had to move into a different house, with her mom, and dad. She said it was remarkable, the way the money was coming to her. I told her what we gave her was just a seed for other monies. She is a spirit filled Christian, and believes God will take care of everything. Please pray for Diane.

I know, SURPRISE! Me again. Now I want to tell my story. You see, I'm a 'giver,' you know, one of those ppl who LOVES to give. So I thought, this is gonna be a piece of cake. Boy was I wrong! Who knew it would be so hard to find just the right person to bless with $20! I looked everywhere, at everyone. I couldn't figure out what the problem was! Why couldn't I find someone to bless with this money?! Then it hit me, "I" was looking; "I" wanted to bless someone; "I" wanted a great story. Notice a theme here? So I prayed...and prayed and prayed and prayed. On Tuesday, the roads were SO icy I ended up calling a cab to take me to work (at 5am). Needless to say, the cab driver was NOT a 'morning person.' I tried to chit-chat with him and he just grunted and looked at me like I was the devil. So I sat back quietly and held on for dear life (he was from up North and drove like a NYC cab driver!). I asked him to stop at 7-11 so I could get my morning caffeine and he grumbled something about not being able to get his but he has stop on a miserable day to get mine, but he did stop, for which I was eternally grateful. So I'm inside getting my ritual Diet Coke and I thought, "I'm gonna buy this man a giant cup of coffee." BOING! *light bulb* It was like God put up a flashing neon sign that said, 'THIS IS HIM,' 'THIS IS HIM.' My first thought was (and I'm ashamed to say it), "but this is just a cab driver doing his job. What's so special about that?" WHEW! Am I glad we have such a loving, forgiving God! So I got back in the cab gave him the coffee with my $20 seed money wrapped around the cup. It seemed like this man's whole countenance totally changed. He thanked me for the coffee and said, "Oh here, I think this is yours." And handed me the $20. I said, "No sir, it's yours." Then I proceeded to tell him what our church was doing and that God was going to use that money to bless him. The rest of the ride was very pleasant. He told me that his daughter was going through a rough time and that his grandsons had recently moved in with him. His oldest grandson was in a lot of trouble and he (the cab driver) had been feeling very overwhelmed, almost to the point of hopelessness, with the responsibility of raising kids again. He also told me that he had just seen on TV about the church that was doing this and he said he thought, "Yeah, right. Like I could be that lucky." All I could do was smile and said, "Luck had nothing to do with it." God is so good. SO good! Thank you Lord! And thank you Pastor Ron and Carol.

First let me say that even AFTER Paul sang about the "hole in his bucket" in front of a couple hundred ppl, he's still too shy to tell his story, so I guess you'll have to hear it from me. He was SO excited about the SetinMotion project that he told me all about it as soon as service was over (I was sick that we/e and stayed home). Well, my brother and his wife and their FOUR kids came over one eve that week to fix his (my bro's) car. Afterwards they were going to go home and eat Spaghetti O's and bologna sandwiches for dinner. No big deal, right? WRONG! My brother and his wife are recovering drug addicts. For the past 2-3 yrs they've really been trying to get their lives straight (and they're doing a wonderful job, btw). But they're really struggling with where God fits into their lives. They're struggling financially, physically, and spiritually. Paul took this as his opportunity to sow his seed so he took us all out to dinner. Now, I knew that he had only pulled $10 from the bucket and anyone who knows my Paul, knows that he is very...well, "frugal" with money. I'm thinking, "How does he plan on feeding two adults and FOUR kids on $10?!" Well, needless to say, he didn't blink an eye when he added the extra money needed to pay for their meal. And he was so excited to tell them about what our church was doing. My family means the world to me and I don't think Paul even realizes how blessed I feel, and how special he made ME feel, that he sowed his seed into my brother's family. I kind of feel like his seed was sowed two-fold. What an amazing man God gave me and what a MIGHTY God we serve!

This story is two-fold. 1st part: I brought a guest/friend with me this evening. He wasn't sure if he was to participate in the project. I encouraged him to do so, regardless since the money wasn't for him anyway. It was an opportunity for God to use him. (I've been trying to minister/encourage him in the word with thought and action. I haven't heard of what he's done with it, but will follow up shortly. 2nd part: I normally bring my purse into church with me. The day Pastor Ron started this project, I had left my purse in my car and had already tithed the week prior. The devil instantly began to send forth his fiery darts. Since I had not given in the "bucket" as Cornerstone was sending the bucket around the first time, I did not feel "worthy" to accept an envelope in order to participate in this project when the bucket came around the second time. The thought, "what would others think if they saw you take from the envelope, without having given tithes in the 1st round" rolled over in my mind. Taking a bit of my own "medicine" I had told my friend earlier, I decided to not entertain that thought any longer. As soon as the bucket passed in front of me, I reached in and took an envelope. I had NO clue who I was to give it to. All I knew is that I wanted God to multiply it 100 or even 200 fold. I knew that it was my job to plant the seed I was given, but I didn't understand and still don't understand much about "investments". I decided to add "my faith" to what I was given. I went over the parable of seeds and talents time and time again. Praying over the seed I had been given charge over. Wednesday had come around and I had yet to plant my seed. Pastor said to be sure and plant it before the week was out. I decided to give it to an Airman, who I knew was struggling financially. He usually ends up giving 1/2 of his monthly pay to his family back home in Arkansas and he's had vehicle trouble week after week for months. This guy is only 19. To have such a burden and sense of responsibility for his family at that age, is very Christ like. I left it to him in an envelope and asked him to open it "later". That evening he opened it, and sent an email thanking me & Cornerstone for the blessing. He further stated that he would pray over the $110, seeking God's direction on how to use it.

I was given the SetNMotion envelope from one of your members. My wife and I working on our degrees. This past fall, my wife was accepted into Nursing school at UCO. Consequently, she had to quit her job in order to pursue her dream. That is going to leave us with roughly 1/2 the income we had last year. To not only have one of your members, but the whole congregation, care about us enough to give us a little bit of help is heart warming. Thank you so much kindness.

Back in October I received a message from a lady asking me about voice lessons so she could sing at her husbands funeral. He has terminal cancer. I was actually out of town and misplaced the number. I was sick about it. A month and a half later, I was cleaning out email and ran across one that had been overlooked. It was from the same person. I contacted her immediately and we scheduled to start lessons in January because they were leaving for California for her husband's Make A Wish trip. January 6th came and went and she did not come. I sent her an email to check on her because I was concerned that something wasn't right. I did not hear back and then Cornerstone started the Set N Motion Project. I prayed that God would show me the specific person that needed the money I received. A few days later I received an email apologizing for not being at the lesson and thanking me for my willingness to do it but that they would have to stay in California until her husband passed. She went on to say that they had flown her daughter back to OK for school and she was now in a hospital because she had tried to commit suicide and that as soon as she was released they would fly her back out to be with the family. I knew I was supposed to send her the money. It was several days before I received an email with the address where they are staying, but I know God is going to use this "seed" to encourage this family that God never lets go! Thank you God for giving seed to the sower and multiplying it through your children to show Your loving kindness. Thanks Pastor and Carol for your love and leadership so we can live in the fullness of God's blessings.

I received $10 in the envelope the Pastor provided us. I must admit when I opened it I was disappointed that I only had $10. I prayed about that $10 and decided to call Citizens Caring For Children. I spoke with the secretary there and told her that I had done volunteer work for them many years ago and about the $10 that Cornerstone church had given me to "pay it forward". She told me that ONLY $10 could purchase 10 pairs of socks, 10 pairs of underwear, etc. for the foster children at Citizens Caring for Children. I told her I was going to add $25 of my own to the $10 Cornerstone SETNMOTION had given me for these often forgotten children. I got the address to send the money to and said I would enclose a letter describing what Cornerstone was doing. I also asked about volunteer opportunities at "Citizens". She informed me that they really needed mentors so I asked her to send me an application. Last week I received a call regarding the application and I called them back. The person who answered the phone was the volunteer coordinator I worked for so many years ago only she was no longer the volunteer coordinator, she was the chairman of Citizens Caring for Children. She said she got my donation and the letter explaining about the SETNMOTION project. She was very impressed by the project and thanked me for thinking about Citizens Caring for Children. She was also thrilled that I was going to write about what I did with my $10 on the SETNMOTION project website. I feel so Blessed to have been able to have had that $10 to give to this deserving charity and that I am on my way to being a mentor for a foster child. Thank you Pastor Ron for giving this wonderful opportunity to me!

Sorry I'm late but here's my story. Pastor Al and I were talking the Tuesday after I got my 5 dollar seed. I was trying to figure out how I was going to bless somebody with a measly 5 bucks. Well, Pastor gave me a few ideas and I left to go back to work. I didn't have to go back, but I wanted to get my truck fueled up for the next day. I took my truck to the truck stop, got fuel, went inside to pay and the guy in front of me. STOP. Let me explain. Some truck stops have a reward program for buying fuel, you get a penny for every gallon of fuel you buy to use for anything in the store. Sort of like a gift certificate. So this guy was trying to whittle down his purchases (food!) to get the price under the value of his "gift certificate". Yea, it was a five dollar G.C. I'll tell you right now I've been there. Out on the road, trying to scrimp your last five bucks until payday to eat or get something to drink. He tried to refuse, but not very hard, and once the cashier heard why I was doing it she wasn't going to let him out of his (our) blessing. How awesome that a "measly" Five bucks could go so far for someone and also that God has such perfect timing. I just wanted to get my truck fueled up for the next day.

It took me most of the week to give my seed away.  I was kind of trying to find someone who could eventually join, or be independent enough to bring themselves to church.  I reminded myself that GOD gives the increase.  On Saturday Jan 17, 2009, I called this young lady, who lives on the next block from my Mother and me.  I explained to her Mother who I
represented and what we were trying to do. When I gave the $10.00 to her, she explained that she only had one pamper
for her little girl.  She also told me her birthday was Monday, Jan. 19th.  I took her to "Family Dollar" to get some diapers.

Around Thanksgiving I was driving home and saw a cell phone lying in the road so I turned around and picked it up. Just moments after this, the phone rang and I answered and told them I had just found the phone. The woman on the phone said it belonged to her son and they were looking everywhere for it. I offered to drop it by their house. When I arrived, a man in his mid-thirties came to my car, thanking me profusely. He told me that he had just come home from Texas after losing his job, and that his phone had all of his contacts in it. He kept trying to give me money and I told him to go buy some kid something for Christmas instead. Ever since then, I felt the Lord directing me to contact him again and establish a relationship. When I received the money from this project, the Lord laid it on my heart to give it to him. Last night was my second attempt to get the money to him. His father answered the door. I re-introduced myself and he remembered me bringing the cell phone weeks earlier. I told him that his son had been on my heart and I wanted to see how he was doing. He said he had gone back to Texas looking for work, and stated he was concerned about other things going on in his life. He invited me in and asked to take down my phone number, offering to pass it along to his son. As we were standing at the kitchen counter, his cell phone rang and it was his son. (What a coincidence?) He told his son that I was there and he handed the phone to me. We spoke for a few minutes and I told him that I had dropped by to check on him, and that I was going to leave something for him next time he came home. He seemed thrilled that I had cared enough to check on him. We handed the phone off to his mom and then I pulled the 100 dollars out of my wallet and laid it on the notepad where his father had written down my phone number. I told him that our church was wanting to reach people in our community to let them know God loved them and we wanted this to be an expression of our care and love for people as well. I asked him If I could pray for him and his son and he was more than willing. God gave me every word to speak over their lives and I encouraged him of the power of a father's love for his son, and that the love he showed his son would be an example of God's love for us as our Father. It was awesome to see how God orchestrated this moment long before the money from the SetNMotion project came into my hands. I know that there will be more to add to this testimony in the days ahead!

Jerry and Mistie Kennedy

Wow, what an outstanding project for our community. Jerry and I were both blown away by the faithfulness and generosity of our church and so proud to be members of Cornerstone. Neither one of us were sure who to give our money to so we prayed that God would show us, we looked everywhere we went. The end of the week was coming upon us quickly and both of us still had our money. There had been several people that we could have given it to but it just didn't feel like that's what God wanted and we definitely wanted to be obedient. Saturday morning, exactly one week from the day that we had taken the envelopes God spoke to both of us and told us to give our envelopes to a Police Officer that works Security for me at the Bank. For about the last year I have been witnessing to him and trying to get him to come to church with us, he was raised in church but had some negative experiences so he said he would never attend church again, his wife has visited with us and loved it but couldn't get her husband to come with her. I had the opportunity to talk to him for an extended period of time in my office one week before the setNmotion weekend. I got to share with him about how being connected with the church has blessed our lives in every way. He actually set there and listened, but didn't have much to say. Jerry and I took our $5 and $15 and put money with it, we got a nice card and wrote about the project, the church and let him now how much we love and care for him and his family. Jerry took it and gave it to him. This Officer is 6'8" tall just a tough cop and it brought him to tears, he had no words to say. what we found out later that day is that he told his wife that he wanted to visit Cornerstone, she was crying that is something she thought would never come out of her husbands mouth. I also want to mention that this mans name is on my stake from the stake a claim sermon and his wife attended that service also and took a stake home and I know he was on hers as well. God is so Good. Thank you Pastor Ron and Carol for your obedience and for the love and compassion you have for people and for stretching us to be the best we can be.

We were able to bless one of our new Bible study friends. She is a delightful person and has to raise $1600 towards an upcoming mission trip, so we gave her the $5 and added $45 to it. We know that she will bless the people she will meet and minister to on this trip. I was sick that weekend and wasn't able to participate; I felt compelled to be a blessing anyway. So we gave an other $100 to some other Bible study friends who recently lost one of their jobs. We know how hard it is to be without sufficient income; we were without a job, a couple of years ago, for 6 long months and God provided for us. She had tears in her eyes when we gave her the money and I know it was an encouragement to her and her husband. It let them know that God still cares and that He didn't forget about them. He will provide! He said he would! With God all things are possible!

We were so excited to sow seeds into the lives of others as we always aim to live our own lives by paying it forward. My wife and I combined our money from the envelopes and then added some more to invest in the children in our neighborhood. Having previously lived in a neighborhood where the kids would write graffiti on walls, steal cars, etc., we feel very blessed to have the total opposite now. We know that our neighbors are "blended" families and that the economy has presented a challenge in some of their lives. With the money we sowed into the lives of their children and an accompanying letter, we BELIEVE and CLAIM that this will help lay or grow the foundation of our future generation of Godly young people in this Great Land of the Free! Like the saying says, "Charity begins in your own backyard!"

We are truly blessed to belong to such a great church! My family and I enjoy so much the love and compassion we feel here! We believe God placed us here for a significant purpose. I gave the $2o.oo I received in my envelope to a lady that works at the base. She has been a blessing to me and others that she sees by always greeting them with a smile no matter what her day is like. At the end of every conversation she says God Bless You in everything you do. When I spoke with her today, she told me that she had paid it forward and that we would both be blessed for being obedient and paying it forward. I believe God has a purpose and plan for my family and for our family at Cornerstone Church. God is so good! Thank you Pastor Ron & Carol and Cornerstone church for being a blessing to myself and my family so that we could be a blessing to others.

I thank God for this opportunity to be a blessing to someone else. I was blessed to give my seed to a mother of three. She is going through a very tough time right now. I heard her talking to another mother about her situation and God let me know this is the person you need to bless. I spoke with her and shared my relationship with Christ, my great church family at Cornerstone and invited her to our services. I encouraged her not to give up based on her situation and God answers prayer. I also told her I would pray for her and her family. I want Cornerstone to keep her and family in your prayers. Thank you.

1st Time Visitor

My name is Brenda Hammons and I was at your church visiting with my cousin and his family. (Paula & Kerry Jobe). And as a first time visitor, I must say your church will stay with me forever. I was awestruck as I watched a church that believes God's principle on sowing and reaping. Wow is all I can say. To be able to be part of something as life changing as seeing a church put into action Gods word. Thank you for a remarkable time of worship. I did take an envelope and it contained $10. As we went into the parking lot, my nephew who had just gotten out of the hospital due to his vein getting infected from shooting up drugs was with me, and he and his cousins were making comments and lets say were dumb founded but what they witnessed. My nephew who is also from Kentucky and flew to OK with me has struggled with God. He was raised in church and was taught God's word but now as a young adult has begun taking wrong turns. He had just begun doing things and thank you Lord his vein got infected and he had to go to his parents for help. He now says he doesn't want to live like that and low and behold we end up at your church. I gave the $10 to him...as his mouth dropped open and he tried not to take it. Oh and by the way he didn't take one from the offering either...he does have a fear of God, but I chose to take that opportunity to give him the love of God, and share how much Jesus loves him. He finally took the $10 shacking his head all the while ...I know God has great plans for Him and thank you for the chance to show him God's love. God never ceases to amaze me. In his service forever. Brenda Hammons, KY

Last week I looked around all over the place, at walmart, any store we went to, restaurants. I thought about family and friends. But no one really stuck out to me. Finally last Thursday I was at the gas station filling up my truck. I finished up and got in my truck to drive away when I looked in my rearview mirror and saw a guy behind me filling up his car. I knew that I should use the money to pay for his gas. I had no idea why or anything, but that's what I felt God laying on my heart. So I walked up to him and said "Let me buy your gas for you!" He almost took a step back and said "Why?!". So I explained to him what our church was doing and handed him the 20 and he just smiled and said "God bless you". I know it meant something to him. I got back in my truck and thought "Hey! That was fun! I should buy someone's gas more often!" Thanks for this awesome opportunity!

Blessed To Be A Blessing

I was so excited for this "out of the box" project that God laid on Pastor's heart. I prayed and asked God for the leading in the right direction. I had no idea what to do with it, until our foster daughters grandmother was told in court that she could have her granddaughter once she had her own place and a job. I gave her the seed money $20 and added $10 to it and told her about what our church was doing. I told her that I knew there would be utility deposits and other money needs. She has been really working hard to get her life in order and serve God. She had tears well up in her eyes was thankful.

There was a coworker whose father was having surgery. He told her that he felt lonely and didn't have a lot to live for because his wife had recently died in the last year. This made me think about doing something nice with the $5 for him. She also mentioned that he couldn't eat and was not able to keep food down and he had a feeding tube. I had never met her dad before but I asked her if I could go to the hospital and take her dad a card with the seed money. Remembering what Pastor Ron said that we could add to it, I added a plant to my gift and took it to Baptist Hospital. This was on Wednesday night on the 15th and I went up there and met him and stayed about an hour. He was happy and enjoyed my company. We talked about his church and his belief in God and there were some people from his church that visited him. We talked about how lonely the hospital was because I knew about this. I then prayed with him for healing and that he could eat by the weekend. On Thursday he was able to eat a little and by Friday he was able to eat a full meal, they had removed the tubes and he has been very happy and was discharged that weekend. It made my coworker happy that someone cared. It felt good to give to another person and to pray with them and minister to them.

As I read some of the stories, I see that some of you struggled on whom shall I bless with this envelope and I to prayed about it, that God would show me. Well he did, I was talking to a young lady who has been having trouble in her marriage, her husband is an alcoholic and will soon know if he has a job or not in a few months, she has been praying about it and asking God to help her in this situation, but from what I could hear she did not know how much Authority she has over this situation and over her future, so God put it in my heart to buy the Book Authority of the Believer. Thank you so much Cornerstone for this wonderful opportunity to be a blessing to those in need.

I was at the grocery store one morning. The girl bagging my groceries used to attend the church I grew up in. I chatted with her for a few minutes and then left to go home. As I was leaving, I felt prompted that this was the person I was to give my envelope to. Since I was already in my car, I convinced myself that she would be working tomorrow and I would come back then. I made it all the way to my house, but couldn't go inside. Since I work nights, I was really looking forward to going to sleep, but I knew I was supposed to give her the money today, and that I wouldn't sleep at all if I didn't obey the prompting. So, I returned to the grocery store, and got her attention in the parking lot. I told her what my church was doing and that I felt that I was supposed to bless her with this money. I had $10 in the envelope and added an additional $10 of my own. She almost burst into tears and gave me a big hug and thanked me. I have no idea what she may have been needing at the time. I just happened to know her history. She came from a pretty troubled home and had always tried to stay in church, in spite of some bad decisions along the way. However, I know she had become somewhat hardened to church because some people judged her for her actions in the past. I don't know whether or not she is in church now, but if not, I hope this will remind her of how much God loves her and that he is always looking out for her no matter how far away she has walked from him. I hope that this will be a tool to bring her back into a relationship with Him.

Wow! What a fantastic idea that God placed on your heart Pastor Ron. I prayed for several days that God would direct me to sow the seed ($15.00) where he wanted it. I began to doubt myself when I felt several opportunity's had passed me by and I did not feel called to sow the seed. I was beginning to wonder if I had missed God's nudge. On Monday evening (1/19/09) I was at Buy for Less picking up a gallon of milk. I had just finished working and I was still in my uniform. I noticed a young women holding a two year old little girl walking towards the pharmacy. The little girl said, "Hello Policeman". I said hello back and spoke with her for just a minute. As I spoke with the little girl it appeared that the mother was trying to avoid any conversation with me. I asked the mother if I knew her because she had started to look familiar. The mother than said, "Yes you do know me but I was hoping you would not recognize me". I asked her how I knew her and she said that I had responded to a domestic call between her and her husband about two years ago. Both her and her husband had went to jail because the domestic was physical. She also said that about a year after the domestic that I arrested her for DUI. I explained to her that my job is sometimes not pleasant but I hoped she was doing ok. The young woman told me that she was divorcing her husband as he was the cause of most of her problems. She said that she was struggling right now but that she was living with her mother and working with her brother trying to earn enough money to find a home of her own. I told her that I would give her my business card and to please call me if I could help her in anyway. I told her that I had resources available to me that might be helpful to her. Here is where God got my attention. I always keep my business cards in my wallet. Never in my shirt pocket. I also had been keeping the seed money in my wallet for fear of leaving it with the cleaners. For some reason I reached into my shirt pocket for a business card and instead pulled out the $15.00 from the church. I knew God was working. I handed the money to the woman and told her that I wanted to be a blessing to her. I explained that the money was from my church and that we wanted her to have it. I explained that Cornerstone was sewing seed in the community and that God was going to bring us a great harvest. The woman said that she would use the money to buy her little girls medicine. The reason she was there to begin with. She also thanked me and Cornerstone for the gift and that she would pay it forward when she was able. She started to cry then gave me a hug and said thank you and God Bless You. I told her that I would pray for her and she was welcome at my church anytime. God is Great!

I struggled at first deciding who to give my money to but finally decided on a woman at my work. When I gave it to her I told her that I wanted to bless her because I know there have been times, while being stressed out at work, that I didn't act very Christian with her. I wanted her to know that I do care about her and that I hope nothing I do ever discourages her from her faith. She was very grateful. Then, the following week, she came to me and told me that she "Paid It Forward" and used the money I gave her to help two teenage boys at her church to pay for entrance fees for a lock-in at her church. She said that these two boys had been having a hard time and really needed to get plugged in but wouldn't have been able to cover that entrance fee. She and I both believe that they were blessed. And now a seed has been sown into two teenage boys' lives. Thanks Cornerstone for being a part of that!

I already entered my story about donating $10 dollars to the Dave Thomas Foundation at Wendy's. I wanted to share that same day I was given an easy opportunity to make $70. Two days later someone out of state randomly gave me $20. So a $10 seed turned into a $90 harvest. Thanks you God for granting seed to the shower.

Right after Steve and I both took in envelope from the bucket that Sat. night in service, and Pastor prayed over it, I knew what the Lord wanted me to do with mine.  I whispered to Steve during church that I had change my mind about what I had planned because the Lord just spoke to me who to give my envelope too.  I told him and he said that Lord just told him the same thing.  This is our story.

A young single mother who works at a restaurant we frequent had been in my Children’s church when she was young. Steve and I went in right after church that Sat. night and asked to be seated in her station.  She was already off the floor and doing her clean up to go home.  I asked her to come out to us.  Steve stepped away for a moment,  while I talked to her.

I told her we had just left church.  That our Pastor had just spoke on how God was a Giver Himself.  He then gave every adult a sealed envelope that he said had money in it.  Because God is a giver, we were to take this money and do a act of kindness with it. The envelopes could have has little as $5.oo each in them, but Steve and I immediately thought of her and thought that she was the one we were to give our envelopes too. I told her I didn't know how much was in the envelopes but we thought it would fun to let her opened them.  She was delighted.  She wanted to wait for Steve to get back to the table to open them.  We waited, and when he returned,  she opened them.  There was a $10.00 and a $50.00.  We was so surprise and we clapped for her. She hugged us and said "Thank you so much".  I told her to remember to Thank the Lord. (I guess that was the Children's Church teacher in me)  She got the money because we were suppose to remember that God is a Giver.  She was very moved.  She even said, "Thank You Lord " to him. She loved it.  It flowed. None of it was awkward.

I love that this young women received a blessing from the church of her childhood.  That we, Cornerstone, was still being there for her.

I want to Thank Pastor for being who he is suppose to be, for having the wisdom, the faith, and the understanding to be our Pastor.  This "Object Lesson" so to speak, has been a wonderful thing for the body. It has let us have personal ownership and giving seed for our body.  I have been blessed by many things over my years of being in church and this ranks WAY WAY up there.

Thank you to the staff for the doing all the paperwork involved in this blessing,

Sincerely,

Rebecca Belflower

My husband and I put our money together and add some of our own to bring the total to $50. We where led to give it to some friends that have been going through a tough time lately. We told them about what Cornerstone was doing and that we felt that God wanted us to bless them with the money. They were very thankful and surprised.

I was going to Crest to do some grocery shopping and I had prayed before I went in for God to show me who to give my seed to. I was walking around and it was busy and crazy as usual, I notice a lady that worked there that was cleaning the floors and was pushing a cleaning cart around. I was watching her for several minutes she was always smiling and people were rude to her trying to get around her and I felt God was telling me she was the one. I walked up to her and told her about our church and what we were doing and she was so happy all she kept saying was thank you so much, thank you. I had a $10.00 in my envelope and I feel like the seed was sewn well. What a great blessing to be a part of.

At work we have just gone through route adjustments, meaning that everyone's work load has increased. Needless to say most everyone is a little grumpy towards our management, to the immediate supervisor especially. The Holy Spirit let me know that it was her I needed to bless. I gave her the money explaining that Cornerstone, my church, wanted to sow seed in her life, that we are called to pray for those over us, and that if she had any prayer request, I would join my faith with hers. I don't have any tear bringing response to give, but I know that some are called to sow, some water, and others to reap. I sowed, thank you Cornerstone for allowing to be used by the Holy Spirit.

My name is Mel H. I am married and have one daughter. One Thursday January 15, 2009 Mike and Patty Herren blessed my family with a financial blessing that was completely unexpected. As they were blessing me they explained the project that Cornerstone Church was embarking on and it completely blew my mind. As Mike and Patty explained their purpose I could not help to think that God was blessing me to be a blessing to someone else. Later on that night I talked to my wife about it and we prayed about the money and God began to give me great revelation about my life. Since graduating from college in 03-04 my wife and I have been very blessed in the advancement of our careers. But the more money that we have made the more I have put into our retirement, savings and any other account that can hold my worldly funds. But God revealed to me through this incredible blessing that it was time for me to open my heart to the less fortunate and begin to bless others. My wife and I have made a vow to take money from each check and begin a mission to give to someone or some organization that is in need of a blessing. This weekend we are going to visit the Ronald McDonald House and donate some pajamas and toys to her cousin who is fighting brain cancer and to some other kids so that we can do what we can to help lift their spirits. During our next grocery shop we are going to buy some extra food and donate it to a local church that keeps a food panty for people in need. In February we are donating some money to St Jude’s cancer research and the OKC rescue mission. Each month we are going to continue to give to those who are in need of some help. I want to personally thank Mike, Patty, Pastor Ron and Cornerstone Church, the way that you blessed me goes so far beyond anything financial that I can’t begin to explain, your faith and obedience to the word of God is inspirational. It gave me an opportunity to settle my spirit so that I could hear from God and there is no greater gift that you could have given me. I send you love from my family to yours, Mel, Miranda and Mya Judah Christian Assembly

When I received the money I was so excited. My mind was racing with what I would do with it to bless someone else. I didn't want to give it to anybody, and was waiting for the Holy Spirit to speak to my heart. I was at a 7-eleven and a lady who worked there had ended her shift and was walking out of the store. I felt that she was the one. I walked up to her and said excuse me ma'am, I want you to have this. She asked why, and I told her that Jesus loved her, and surprised she said oh, thank you. I smiled and walked away.

I had $20.00; my father was put in a nursing home a few weeks ago. After visiting the nursing home and seeing how hard the staff works. I decided to buy pizza for the nursing home staff (evening shift) and some of the patients (if not on a restricted diet) in the nursing home. I told them I was blessed with some money and was lead to share it with them. I told them about Cornerstone church and the blessings we receive from Cornerstone church family. They were all so very thankful and blessed. Thank you!

I used the money and added some to it to buy a gift card for a family to buy some groceries.

I was a visitor to your church on Jan 10th; I love the idea and concept. I knew I would have a busy week and really not much time to interact with anyone outside my house. I went to get my haircut and the lady that cuts my hair was telling me about her having to move, and all that she has been going through with her car not running. I knew then that she would be the one I would bless, so I told her what Cornerstone had done and she was just amazed. God has moved again!

I received a $50 seed to sow. I was at Homeland putting in an application and overheard 2 older men sitting on the bench talking about how they were going to buy food to get them through the cold days coming. I knew this would be where my seed would go. I approached the men and told them about our church and the project. I handed them the $50 and told them to buy groceries for his family. He asked what he did to deserve this, I told him that God loves him that is why.

We decided to combined the money we received and purchased a box of diapers for a new family that had twin girls. She had to quit work to take care of the baby's. The twins are 8 months old now. So when we called her and told her about what we were doing at Church she was flattered that we thought of her and her family. All she could say was thank you and that it was a wonderful thing what our church was doing.

I received a $5 seed to sow, after holding this for a week just waiting for the nudge from God on who to bless this with, I noticed that everywhere I went I would look down and the would be the cardboard box for Feed the Children. After finishing by errands on Saturday I still had the $5 in my pocket wanting to bless someone with it rather then to a charity. My last stop was a gas station and there was no one there. As I was paying for my items I looked down and there was the Feed the Children box again and I heard God say Feed my children so I placed my $5 in the box and it felt awesome to sow the seed. Bless you Pastor Ron and Carol for you commitment to this project, so many lives have been changed because of it and I believe with you the debt will be paid off this year.

I knew before Pastor quit talking where my money would go and when I spoke with Chris he agreed. We blessed a Del City grade school with the majority of the students that are from lower income families. I went to school with the Principal and Chris had the good fortune of meeting him when he participated in a "Principal of the Day Program". We put a little money with the gift and I took it to the school (which was great for me because the principal and I had not visited in 20+ years!). When Chris was there he witnessed a program that had been started in the school that rewarded kids that were "Caught doing something right"! These students would then have the opportunity to go to a "Treasure Chest" and select a toy to reward them. Chris learned during his visit, via the staff, the Principal funded this from his own pocket. The Principal let me know during our visit that the seed that Cornerstone sowed would fund the "Treasure Chest" for the rest of the year because they had an agreement with a local merchant that sold bags of toys for $2 each!

I didn't open my envelope I prayed that God would show me who to give my money to. Finally Saturday as I was getting out of my car at the bank I saw a girl walking out to her car. I knew she was the one. I ask to talk to her and told her about the project. She was really excited and said "and you chose me?". I told her about Cornerstone and asked her to bring her family and join us some time. It was really fun and I can't wait to do it again and again!

I received $10.00 seed in my envelope and I added $15.00 more. I decided to give the $25.00 seed to our plumber. This gentleman never charges us as much as I believe he could. And several times he has said people are so surprised that his prices are much less than other quotes they have received. I explained that our church and family wanted to do this to be a blessing to others. He said truly this has touched and blessed him.

As many others in service last Sunday, I waited for that perfect moment, that perfect calling for me to "pay it forward" with the $10 bill I had pulled from the SetNMotion project offering. Long story short, I originally added ten dollars of my own and blessed my daughter's Math tutor with $20--not the actual $10 bill I pulled from the offering, but a $20 bill I had in my wallet. Because of this, and as strange as it may sound, I don't think the tutor was God's intended recipient of the $10 He trusted me with, so here's where it gets interesting. Two days later and after I had explained the project to my husband, my family and I stopped for dinner on our way home following a grueling payday trip to the Tinker Commissary--EEK. Anyhoo, as we sat and ate, my husband noticed a man behind us. With no more than an old, dirty sleeping bag and the clothes on his back, the man sat quietly at the corner table sipping on coffee, obviously trying to stay out of the cold as long as he could. My husband looked at me and said, "that's where the ten dollars should have gone." Feeling horrible that I had already "payed it forward". I realized that, in all actuality, I hadn't! I quickly grabbed my purse and noticed that the original $10 bill was still in the SetNMotion envelope inside my purse. While the man returned to the counter for a coffee refill, my husband set the $10 bill on the man's table without him knowing. As we left and to our surprise, the man kindly waved US goodbye. He couldn't have known who left him the money as the restaurant was crowded with people but, somehow, he knew it was us. Words probably would have made the moment awkward, so we parted in silence--it was perfect.

Priceless

I prayed all week for God to show me right person to bless. This was such an amazing assignment and I really wanted it to be meaningful. Friday afternoon I was serving - doing some volunteer work and it happened. I blessed a man who was retired from the Army in 1995 and was working a contract job. Just recently, he lost that job. I shared my mission with him and he accepted the envelope with $15. He told me how he prayed for an angel. It made my day. God is so faithful. What I received in my heart that day was priceless.

Well once I left church on Sunday morning my mind was just scattered with thoughts of who I should give the money I received to. I had no idea how much was in the envelope yet, but I was thinking of all the things I could do with even five dollars. I opened the envelope when I got home and to my surprise there was $50.00 in it. Lots of options went through my mind, and until I prayed about it, did I know the answer. I kept thinking of how it was about sowing a seed and making it a random act of kindness. I started to think of things that I considered random acts of kindness. Like giving that person in line a head of you at the store .59 cents cause they are short that much. So with my husband’s help, we decided to buy a family’s dinner at a restaurant. Sometimes we ourselves will out to dinner when not really having the funds to do so, and if we do that, then we know others do as well. So we picked the restaurant and headed there. We wanted to pick one that we could maybe even buy two family’s dinner. We decided on a Chinese restaurant in Midwest City that we regularly go to. Once we got there, no one really stood out to us. We then saw the owner at a back table sitting with her young daughter. I thought to myself we should give it to her, and then almost as quick as I thought it, my husband suggested the same thing. So we went up and talked to the little girl a bit and told the Mom what we were doing. I told her that my church had given us money to sow a seed in someone’s life and I wanted to give it to her. She almost immediately said no, but I told her yes. I told her that if she didn't’t feel comfortable with taking the money, then to hold on to it and when someone that she thought needed the money came in, feed them on it. She got a big smile and then hugged me and told me thank you. It felt good to see her smile and knowing that my husband and I put that smile on her face.

I pondered on what to do with my $20 that I received all week long and I just wasn't sure. My mom told me on Friday evening that her and my cousin were coming into town to spend the day with me and the kids and she was bringing my cousin with her. Then I knew I was supposed to give my money to my younger cousin. She is 16 yrs. old and going through all the crazy teenage stuff we go through but also in the middle of her parents divorce. It has been a tough time for her and I thought she could use a little "pick me up"! It also gave me the opportunity to share with her the principal of sowing and reaping and tithing...the quicker you can grasp this principal in life, the better off you are! Cornerstone Rocks!

When I received my envelope in church last Sunday, I knew exactly who I was going to bless before I even opened it. Earlier in the week a co-worker told me about a respite home that her brother and sister-in-law had started- The Anna's House Foundation. It was formed to combat the damage caused from the continually changing living environments the some 900 Oklahoma County babies and foster children under the age of four face in the foster care system. The priority of Anna's House Foundation is to provide stable and loving homes for the youngest of the young in foster care. By providing these precious little ones a solid, nurturing foundation from the beginning, they will be able to form healthy bonds with caregivers, thereby enabling them to develop healthy attachment behavior long into adulthood. Whether reunited with their birth family or adopted into a loving Christ centered home, the Anna's House Foundation exists to give these youngest Oklahomans a fighting chance. My husband & I both gave our envelopes, along with a little extra money & a large donation of needed toys & supplies to help the foundation. They were very appreciative of our gift & exclaimed "Praise the Lord!" The Lord will multiply it all in his time. Thanks for enabling us to help such a good cause...

I tossed around who to bless with the $5 I received. As a single mom I know what a blessing an extra $5 can be sometimes. That thought led me to give a co-worker at Sam the $5. She has taken on the responsibility of raising her grandchild. While it is a blessing to her it is also a strain on her financial situation. So I put $20 with my $5 and asked her to do something for her and the grandchild. I also told her is not required to pay me back but if she wanted to she, her grandchild and any other relative were welcome to come experienced the wonderful family of Cornerstone Church. Thanks for letting me be part of the pay-it-forward blessing.

A young junior at Carl Albert High School came by my daughter's house to see my grandson. He made the comment that he only had a quart of gasoline in his truck. I asked him if he had any money since he has to drive about 15 miles round trip to school. He said no because he couldn't play football and work, so he didn't have a job. I pulled the $20 out of my purse and explained to him where I got the money from and that it was a blessing from the Lord. He happily took the money from my hand saying repeatedly, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I told him to thank the Lord as the money came from him. The young man walked out of our house holding the money in the air, saying, THANK YOU, LORD, THANK YOU, LORD!!!

Way to go Cornerstone!!! Robert and I were so excited to take part in this project. We believe in giving and have been pouring into people's lives for many years now. We like being a conduit that God works through to move money around as He directs. When Robert came home with our envelope and explained what was going to take place we immediately had someone in mind. She has been someone we have been ministering to for some time. She is a waitress with two children and is insulin dependent but has no formal health insurance to cover the expense. Because of the high cost, she goes without the medicine she requires most of the time. Leah has been a wonderful blessing to my family in that Robert goes to her restaurant almost everyday. The way he is loved and cared for there gives me great peace of mind so that I don't have to worry if or what he is eating while I'm at work. They even watch over him for me. Robert is also diabetic and was having a low blood sugar episode one morning and they recognized his problem and took immediate steps to turn him around. As we opened the envelope there was $5 in side. We so love God's multiplication table so we loved the opportunity to increase the blessing to $100. We also included a letter that gave some additional information. The next day Robert went to the eatery as normal. The restaurant was packed and Leah was busy taking care of the crowd. Once things settled down, she came back by the table to check on Robert's coffee and Robert gave her the envelope. He explained that God and Cornerstone love her and wanted to bless her and her family. She and Robert talked for a bit about how God wants to help carry her load and bless her, that she doesn't have to carry the load all on her own. She told of how she prays and that she loves Jesus. Robert suggested that she not open the envelope while at work because of the jealousy that sometimes is created between the other employees. The next morning Leah came to tell Robert how thankful she was for the tremendous blessing. She had just moved to a new residence and had to put her two children in new schools, so she was overloaded with additional expenses trying to settle in. Her son Brandon has been coming to Cornerstone for some time now and has loved the way we have reached out to him and made him feel right at home. Leah is talking about coming to visit as well. Thanks Cornerstone for giving us an opportunity to participate in this project. This has been quite a blessing not only to Leah and her family but to us as well. We know you have to BBQ first before you can expect to create a lasting change or relationship in some one's life. I think these acts of love are going to make a major impact on our community.

My envelope contained $5. I was wondering in what way I was going to be able to plant my seed, as I was going to be at work all week. I came to work on Monday, and heard that one of my "work family" lost her brother, another one was given negative news regarding her cancer treatment. I added some money to the $5, and mobilized my colleague, and we raised several hundred dollars. We are still raising money for these two friends. Thank you Cornerstone for helping all of us to plant our seeds.

Right away, we agreed on who we would bless with the envelope. She's a single parent I've met at our school. She's going through some difficult times - financial and health problems. Two weeks ago the mother was sharing with me about some of these issues. It was apparent she felt lonely - no family or church family. She came to my office Monday morning. I told her what Cornerstone was doing and we wanted to bless her with the money. She said "Are you sure?" Of course I was sure! I believe God used this for her specifically to show her that He loves her and her girls and that people do care. I also believe we'll see her at Cornerstone! Thank you, Pastor, for encouraging us to do this. We were blessed by it.

I received $5.00 for seed money and decided to add $200.00 to it. After shopping on my lunch hour I decided to wait for the God to lead me to someone to give my seed money to. I saw a young mother with four kids in tow and thought she might need a blessing. I introduced myself and explained that my church was planting seeds of Gods's love in the community with a gift of money. After I gave her the money with tears in her eye she thanked me. I invited her to attend our church. Wish I had remembered to ask her name, just in case I ever see her again. Later on that evening I had to make a run to the store again. Two people ahead of me a physically and mentally disabled lady was trying to cash a money order with her birth certificate as ID at customer service. The store refused to cash it. She remarked to the clerk that she didn't know how she would pay for groceries and get back home without the money from the money order. As I listened to her I wondered if I should have waited longer for the Lord's direction. When I opened my wallet to pay for my purchase I saw my last 10 dollar bill and realized it was hers. So I used my debt card to pay for my purchase and searched the store for her. When I gave her the money I said I it probably wasn't as she needed, but maybe it will help a little. She was so thankful and said she would use it for cab fair. I invited her to church and told her God loves her. Without the initial seed money I may not have been moved to help her and tell her about God's love. What a wonderful and life changing experience. I feel blessed to attend a church with a pastor's staff that seeks to not only preach God's word but put his love into action.

I almost did not take an envelope I sometimes am not sure I am the best disciple for God,I waited all weekend and prayed fervently on how I should disperse, the money I was given, finally on tuesday morning after my workout I came out of the gym and when I got in my car I opened the envelope and put the $20.00 in the side pocket of my purse,I went to Oncue to get my morning coffee, all the while looking for someone to give this money to,at the cash register as I was checking out a woman came in and was asked how she was ,she replied not good I went to work this morning and was laid off,she had purchased a newspaper,I handed her the money and said this is from my church and me,she tried to give it back but I refused I told her God Loves you and so do we,and God bless you she started to cry as she left the store, and so did both cashiers and me,one of the cashiers said you really made an impression today,I said it was God,and left the store I know in my heart this was a good seed to sew,I think it won't be long till the church's debt is done, and every week from here till the church is debt free I am going to sew at least $20.00 a week to someone who needs a little love from God. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to give in pure Love.

Ten Bucks!!!!! As I sat in the car waiting for Sue I'm trying to figure out just what I could do with ten bucks. And then the Lord just laid it in my lap. I know of a young woman that is in Bible School in Colorado Springs Colorado. At this particular time in her life she is being attacked by Satan. She is in the beginning stages of obtaining a divorce and she has two daughters, one eighteen and one just turned twenty-one, you know the age----they know everything and simply will not listen to anyone above the age of thirty. She is selling her house with no help in fixing things. She is going to class and working and will not graduate until late in May, 2009. She has never lost or doubted her faith. In fact from my observations she has increased her faith. This is my way of investing in Jesus. The Pastor has stated in numerous sermons about planting the good seed in the good soil, then this person will grow. I don't know what ten dollars will do but if it is responsible for the saving of one soul or to lead one person to Christ, then I have an investment that will pay many, many dividends.

My Seed Story Sunday, I began seeking the Lord, regarding my seed! I felt I was to give it to a new neighbor, but on Tuesday night, I dreamed a very special dream, which told me otherwise. All week,I was open to the leading of the Holy Spirit then,Friday as I was grocery shopping,I saw a young mother, with her baby and two little girls. As I observed, she was very careful of her purchases. I noticed that ,they were dressed as those who were lacking. While watching her, I felt the Holy Spirit, was telling me to give her the seed. I walked over to her and told her that I was from Cornerstone Church on the corner of 15th and Post Road. I told her the church wanted to give her the money. She took the money and as her eyes filled with tears, she thanked me! A short time later, I saw her at the check out counter, she had added a very large package of hamburger meat, to her basket. It blessed me to bless her!

Okay, this is an odd story and not at all unusual, but here goes. I decided not to open my envelope and just pray over it, asking the Holy Spirit to lead me to who it should go to. We went to I-Hop on Wed. night after church, as we sat there a young couple with a new baby came in. As I watched them, I felt a stirring and knew they were the ones I should give my money to. I thought great, I can buy there meal. When I opened the envelope, it was only $5.00 and I had no other money with me. So, I decided to just give it to them as we were leaving. I had not told my husband what I was thinking. Before I could do anything, my husband asked the waitress to ask if they were eligible for a military discount so he cold find out if they were military - they were so he asked her to bring him their check. (He often pays anonymously for meals of military in uniform.) The young man was not in uniform, but he just looked like an Airman to my husband. Turns out their meal was only $5.31, which confirmed to me they were who should get my money. But, my husband paid. So, here I was on Saturday night and still had the $5.00. I went to the grocery store hoping to be led to someone - notta. As I was leaving a woman come in in a wheel chair so I gave it to her. Not much of a story, but the seed has been planted.

I received five dollars to give away for the SetNMotion project. I thought hard about what I could do with this money to help my community and show them how awesome the Lord is. I ended up donating the money to my Air Force flight. My flight is E flight witch is comprised of AWACS enlisted aviators. I told my leadership where the money came from, and what the church was doing. I believe it had in impact on them!!They thought what the church was doing was touching!!

I didn't open my envelope until the time came to use it. I prayed over it and thought I had a plan. Once again, I was reminded of how God does have a way of changing our plans! Wednesday, I made a quick trip to the pharmacy while on an errand for work. I overheard the conversation at the counter behind me and turned around. A young woman with 2 obviously ill young children began crying when the pharmacist told her the price of her prescriptions for the kids. She was apologizing to the pharmacist for crying, saying she didn't have that much money and she just didn't know what to do. As it turns out, she had more than the price of a couple of prescriptions on her mind. She was a newlywed (8 months), but newly widowed. Her husband (not the children's father, so no insurance for them) was killed in Iraq just before Thanksgiving. The cost of her prescriptions was $167. There was $15 in the envelope I had and we are blessed to have helped this young woman. Thank you, Cornerstone family!

Mike and I decided to combine our $60 seed money. We drove to the Infant Crisis Center, a charity that provides babies and toddlers in need with the basic necessities of life. I approached a young woman walking to her car carrying bags filled with diapers and formula the center had just given her. I introduced myself and told her I wanted to give her a gift of money from Cornerstone Church and I told her all the congregation had prayed over the gift to be a blessing to her. She told me she was a single mother with two little ones and she could really use the money right now. She was sincerely appreciative and said I pray God's blessings will come back to you. Thank you Pastor Ron.

Three Cornerstone sowers combined their seed and sowed seed into two young children's lives. The house they were living in burned and had to move in with their grandmother who did not have heat or electricity. The kids had nothing. Their school provided them with shoes, socks, and we provided clothes, backpacks, games and toys for the kids. We put a note into the backpack expressing that we pray that the seed would bless them in 2009 and expressing Cornerstone's love towards them. The seed began to grow as we were buying clothes because the store manager gave us 15% off for our cause.

MY ENVELOPE CONTAINED 15.00 AND I WAS LEAD TO GIVE IT TO A CO-WORKER. CURIOUSLY, THEY ASKED WHY I WAS GIVING AWAY MONEY AND I SAID I JUST WANTED TO BE BLESSING TO SOMEONE. "PAYING IT FORWARD SO TO SPEAK", I EXPLAINED. IRONICALLY, MY CO-WORKER HAD SEEN THE MOVIE AND WE HAD A BRIEF CONVERSATION ABOUT HOW THE MOVIE HAD BLESSED HER FAMILY.SHE WAS OVERWHELMED. NOT ABOUT THE 15 BUCKS OF COURSE, BUT ABOUT THE FACT THAT IT WAS GIVEN SIMPLY TO BLESS HER. SHE SAID THAT SINCE SEEING THE MOVIE SHE AND HER HUSBAND HAD THOUGHT ABOUT BLESSING SOMEONE BUT HAD NEVER FOLLOWED THOUGH. SHE SAID THAT MY ACT OF KINDESS HAS RE-INSPIRED HER TO DO SOMETHING AND THIS TIME SHE WOULD BE SURE TO FOLLOW THROUGH. SHE AND HER HUSBAND ARE VERY GOOD HEARTED PEOPLE AND I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IF THE PERSON THEY ARE LEAD TO BLESS DOES NOT RECEIVED DOUBLE THE BLESSING THEY RECIEVED THROUGH ME. OBJECTIVE MET; ANOTHER BLESSING HAS BEEN SET IN MOTION. THANKS PASTOR RON AND CAROL FOR ALLOWING US TO BE APART OF THIS GOD INSPIRATED PROJECT. WE PRAY THAT GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU AND OUR CHURCH.

Serving The Lord

On the morning of 12 Jan 2009, I approached a young man who was putting gas into his truck at the Tinker AFB service station. I told him the Lord had a gift for him and briefly explained to him God's principle of sowing seed and that we are expecting a great harvest. Then, I told him I was sent to sow seed and the seed was in the envelope I was holding. We opened the envelope together and the first thing we saw was the gold paper that partially lined the inside of the envelope, the sun hit it just right and it seemed to shine like a light. Inside there was a twenty dollar bill, I gave it to the young man and told him to use it however he saw fit. I asked what his name was (John) and welcomed him to come visit us at Cornerstone Church. With a big smile he thanked me and asked what my name was. Wow! What a great way to serve the Lord.

After a week of trying to figure out the best way to use the money and trying to make this great story for the website.....I was at the commissary on the base and realized that the women and men that bag the groceries only work for tips, so it came to me as the lady that was helping me was putting my groceries in the car that maybe she could use the money more then anyone else I could think of. So that’s how I spent the $15.00 that was in my envelope. When usually the tips they receive are around $3-5.00, I knew I made her day.

I received $50 from the church to give as seed. I was able to bless a single mother with $20 towards baby things she had in her basket at Walmart. This act of kindness was also a witness to her mother who was there. I told her the money was from our church, God and myself. She gave me a hug. I was meeting with a missionary to the Philippines and he cancelled his trip due to his wife's health. She is not able to prepare meals as she would like. I gave him $30 and told him to take his wife out for a meal. He thanked me and appreciated the act of kindness. He is going to be in agreement that these seeds will retire the note on the church. My wife received $5 and she felt led to give $1 to a child and they were so excited because they could now either buy 2 extra milks or buy some fun foods on Friday at school. She gave another $1 to another child who was also very appreciative. My wife believes she will have the correct place to give the final $3, she just has not had the direction yet.

My Husband and I were astounded at this project from our church. We received a total of $25 and did not want to contribute it to an organized charity. We wanted to help someone in the community. We debated and prayed on it. While talking to our Daughter and explaining this wonderful gesture from Cornerstone- she mentioned some friends of ours who are renting a house to two young couples that "are trying very hard but are having a hard time making it". These young people are teenage-couples who each have young babies, work and attend High School. Our friend is very impressed with these young people taking responsibility for themselves and their babies. My Husband and I decided God had directed us to these young people. We doubled our "seed" from the Church and purchased a case of Diapers and a case of Baby Wipes and delivered it to the young peoples' home. We explained how Cornerstone and God had blessed us and we wanted to bless someone else in the community. They were the nicest young people and very appreciative. My husband and I, have always believed in helping in the community- be it financially or by donating our time, and always receive a blessing from being able to help those in need.

On 17 January, we gave our gift to a family of four that was shopping for groceries. It say a lot about the time we are living in that the adults initial response was no, believing there was a catch to the gift of money. After explaining that there was no catch but a blessing, they willingly accepted. Their one response was "can we bless someone else" and we said yes.

At Old Chicago Restaurant I picked out a table, laid the $10.00 in the middle, and said "This is from my church. I want to do a random act of kindness for a stranger. God Bless" and left. It was pretty cool.

The night before this service my father-in-law took us to eat a Wendy's. An employee there asked us if we wanted to donate $1 to the Dave Thomas Foundation to help local children and put our names on a donation card. I felt sad that I literally did not have $1 to give. So today I went to Wendy's not to order anything but asked for ten donation cards. I put Cornerstone church on them. I am so thankful God gave me a seed to sow.

I drove into a gas station and saw a man filling his car. After a quick greeting I told the gentleman that our church was working on a new project of blessing the local community. Handed him the 5 dollars, told him God Bless and then drove off.

As soon as I heard about the project, I started going over in my head the many people that I might be sent to bless with this gift. No one was sticking out in my head yet. I knew that when I came in contact with the one God wanted me to bless, he would give me a nudge. When I went to school on Monday, I got a little whisper who to give it to. Because I was waiting for a nudge, I thought maybe there was another it was meant for. I went through the rest of the week nudge less. As class was about to let out today, the lady that I got a whisper to give it to was unusually sitting next to me and I got the nudge I was waiting for. I put the money in a note that told her God told me to give that blessing to her. She is a struggling single mother and I know she could put it to good use.

Hearing the message this past weekend just sent chills up me. It truly is a blessing to be a part of a church that believes in leading by example, being excellent in all that we do, and GIVING! After receiving my envelope with $10 in it I knew exactly who I was going to “plant my seed” with. There is a woman at Sonic that is always a blessing to me when she delivers my “caffeine fix” in the mornings. She is always working hard and has a nice smile and very cheerful attitude. Before I had a chance to see this woman at Sonic I shared the sermon with a few friends at Bunco Night. That night one of the ladies gave me $10 to put with the original $10 to make it $20. Now that’s not the end of it. I found $20 in my coat pocket so I added it too. I love God’s math! Anyway, the woman I wanted to “plant my seed” with at Sonic never served me this week but I did give the envelope with the money and the scripture Genesis 12:2 and Cornerstones website on it to a co-worker of hers to give to her. I don’t know if that woman ever got the envelope but I do know that God is faithful. 3 hours after I gave the envelope I received a call for a great opportunity! God is Good! Thank you Cornerstone for your vision and love for people.

I was in Walmart trying to hear the Lord in whom he might have me bless. I heard a lady on the phone asking her husband I assume to check and see if there was still some hamburger in the fridge that she could make dinner with. She had a loaf of bread, eggs, and some milk in her cart. I heard her tell him that she had enough for breakfast and they would get paid tomorrow. I explained our set-n-motion project and gave her the $10 I had received. She was very appreciative and hugged me, almost crying. She then said, "I can get lunch meat and trash bags now!"

I saw an elderly lady in Sam's using one of the store's scooters to do her shopping. She picked up a bunch of prescriptions then went slowly through the whole store getting samples where they were available. After she had been through the whole store and was headed back to the front all she had in her cart were the Rx, some vitamins, bananas, and a gallon of milk. She was at least in her 80's. I stopped her and explained what our church was doing and asked her if I could bless her with a gift of money. She kept crying and saying thank you. I then told her God loved her and was aware of all her needs. She was so choked up she could not say anything else. This is such a great project. I know it will make me much more aware of people's needs and more aware of the prodding of the Holy Spirit. I am excited to see the harvest.

Before I opened my envelope God had already laid on my heart who I wanted to bless. Of course I knew we were going to do this ahead of time so I had been thinking about it:) There is a girl at a business that I see somewhat regularly. I thought that I would wait until the beginning of the week because I didn't need to go by there yet. Dana encouraged me that maybe it would mean even more if I went just for her. This morning when I left the gym I went by. I was surprised at how awkward it felt to do this, but it was a great blessing. I always say that it is good to be stretched! I don't know anything about her or her needs but I think the main thing that God was up to was to let her know that He thinks about her, and He loves her enough to tell someone else to bless her. She said she thought she would use it to bless her friend and that is so cool how God multiplies the seed to bless so many. I also believe this is an open door for future conversations with her, because now I am not just a customer but I am someone who cares about her.

I gave out my $100.00 envelope last week to a High School Vice Principal in our Mid Del School District. When we blessed him, it touched my heart when he said that he would think of a good way to use the money to bless our kids in the school with needs. Through out the week I kept thinking about the VP heart to give to his kids and how I wanted to give more. Recently someone blessed me with $100.00. I took the money, gave it to him this morning and told him that this time my family and I would like to be a small part of what he's doing in the High School with kids in need. I also shared that our Church believes that if what’s in your hand is not your harvest then it must be your seed, and God gives you seed to sow and be a blessing. I once again thanked him for his service and dedication to the work he has been called too.

Sunday morning at the 11:00 service I received $20.00 in my envelope for the set in motion project. Friday morning when I paid my water bill at the cashier window. I was getting ready to put my car in drive to head home. I looked down at my purse and saw my envelope. I put my car in reverse and went back to the window. I told the cashier that I wanted to use the money to help someone pay on their bill. She looked puzzled and asked if it was a particular person. I told her no, anyone that needed help, please apply it to their bill. She said hold on. When she came back to the window she said “We found someone”. I told her God bless her and Jesus loves you.

My envelope contained a $5.00 blessing. I added $20.00 to it. I told a young man that I worked with about Cornerstone Church giving money to bless other people and we wanted to bless him. He said what a great thing for a Church to do. I know the harvest is in motion.

I parked in a different place than usual when I went to work on Sunday afternoon and when I was leaving there was a guy beside me with his hood up. I gave him a jump but that wasn't the problem. Then I told him about our church giving away money and that I would like to give him mine to help with his truck. He said he had never heard of a church "giving away money". It felt good to know that I was helping someone who really needed it.

I gave my money to my buddy at work who was needing some money. I told him he didn't have to pay me back if he would come to church with me and he said "Bet that!" He said he will come as soon as he gets his truck fixed. It felt good to bless him because I know he was hurting for money and I know he will be blessed when he comes to church.

I donated my money to Deaconess Pregnancy and Adoption Services. Two and a half years ago I adopted my son from there and he is the biggest joy and blessing that I have ever received. This week they had an open house for a new building that they moved into and I know have many financial obligations for the new building. It was a complete honor to give back to them and they felt blessed when they heard why I was giving them the money. The money can go to help a birth mom or a potential adoptive family or for their building. This was truly an amazing experience.

On Sunday, I knew right away that I was going to buy gas for someone. I didn't know who, so I planned on handing out my envelope (which contained $10) the next time I needed to get gas for my van. I did pray for God to show me exactly who to bless. I felt led to double the money, so I did. By Wednesday, I was still holding onto this envelope. But right before I was leaving work to go to lunch, I overheard a couple of ladies at work talking. One lady (who lives a good 30 minutes from work) said how she forgot her wallet at home that morning and she did not know if she had enough gas to get home. I knew right then that she was the person I needed to bless. Shortly after I came back from lunch, I explained to her about the setnmotion project, and told her I wanted to bless her and buy her some gas to get home. What a wonderful feeling it is to bless someone!

I received $10 in my envelope and my daughter received $5. We discussed what we would do with our gift and decided to combine ours and add to it. We purchased a gift card for $50 from Crest and gave it to a family of four. In all of the years that I have attended church, this is the first time that I have been a part of something like this. Great idea!

Sunday night at 8:00, was a very special sunday evening. I have never felt so good in my life. I was doing my laundry at the apartment where I live. To make a long story short, I always wait until the last minute to do ALL my laundry, lol and out of no where a young woman wobbled over to the door and opened it for me. When I looked at her I smiled and said, "Thank you so much" she replied with a simple "Your welcome". When I got up to my apartment, something told me to go back down there and sew the seed to her. As I got close to the laundry room, my heart started racing, she was still there. Me not knowing this poor woman was mentally and physically disabled, doing her laundry with just the one hand she had, She turned to me and smiled and said, "Do you need more help?" I said No, and asked her if she joined a church. She told me she did, but it was too hard for her because she had to walk all the time so she just watches the services on tv. So, of course I told her about Pastor Ron at Cornerstone on tv, and that he had his own show called Unfiltered on tuesday and saturday at 10:30. Then I explained to her what we were doing and right there I opened the envelope for the first time, and it was a $10 bill. I handed it to her in tears and told her, "God loves you so much, and so do I and the rest of Cornerstone Church and I hope this helps you with whatever you need." she almost cried and kept saying thank you over and over. She said, "I do nice for people all the time and no one ever has done this before." I told her God is blessing her everyday. She opened the door for me, once again. I started to my apartment, and turned around... She was gone. But I know that she needed it more than I. Just to add something to my testimony, My husband and I were desperately in need for money and food at the time Pastor Ron had us take the envelopes. I told myself, I am not going to open this until I find the right person. I knew even though I was struggling, GOD WOULD FIND A WAY.... and he did. Thanks to my Cornerstone family for giving me a bag of groceries, and a Special Thank You to SABRINA, who took money out of her own pocket to buy my family more groceries. It gets better, She handed me her envelope that she had received, and my entire body just started trembling. She told me not to open it until I got in the car, so I did. It was a $100!!!! and I just cried and had some time alone with God. I gave to someone special, and The Lord blessed me! So I bought diapers and more food for my family, and with God in my life, I have no worries. And a special thank you to Pastor Ron, Carol, Sabrina, and the rest of Cornerstone Church, My life has changed dramatically since I became part of this family,I wouldn't have wished for any place else. Pastor Ron inspires me and lifts me up every time I see him, and hear him speak the word of God. I love you all so very much...GOD BLESS *Sarah Da Villa*

I was having lunch with my daughter at one of OUR favorite spots in Midwest City. We waited patiently for our waiter which never came. The hostess noticed that we had been waiting a while and asked us if we had been taken care of, she then personally got a waiter to take care of us. Service from that point was great; we ate our lunch, paid our bill and left a tip for our waiter. As we got ready to leave I felt led to bless our hostess with $10.00 dollars. I spoke with her and thanked her for the many times she had been nice, courteous and good to me and my family. I told her that she is the best in the restaurant. Along with the $10.00 dollars I gave her one of our Cornerstone Church cards and asked her to take a look when she gets some time. This is when it got interesting. She told me that just this week someone else from Cornerstone had blessed her with $10.00 dollars and she knew Pastors Ron & Carol and plans to visit our church. It really blessed me that a God would use us in a small way which could mean something much more for that hostess life. I believe that God is speaking to her through a series of small setnmotion acts of love. Boy, am I glad I was on my best behavior.

I never expected to get much, but God gave me the responsibility of a $100 seed. Took me a few days to figure out what I was supposed to do with this. My wife Evelyn was a big help with that. I had a few ideas, but she talked about doing something for the Fire department. I had thought about cooking something for someone, so this seemed perfect. I made 'My Mammas famous grits casserole' for the Midwest City Fire & Rescue Station 1. I wasn't able to speak to all the personnel, but I did explain our 'seed'. I told them that me and my church were bringing breakfast for them because I loved them, my church loves them and so does God. I let them know that all are welcome at our church. I also asked them , that if they came across someone that they were helping and that person expressed any need to find a church, tell them about Cornerstone. I don't know his name, but the gentleman that was in the big, glassed in office came out and thanked all of us for thinking of them and assured me that each of the stations would get one of the 5 pans of casserole and he would tell them what we are doing. Maybe this will be a whole row of seeds! I also brought a pan to the Cornerstone staff. Gotta help fertilize those seeds in their minds, too. Thank you all for being such a wonderfully dynamic church and such incredible people.

We've been waiting all week to plant our seed, knowing the Lord would lead us and confirm between us who to bless. We were at the gym this morning and Mike overheard three men talking about church and tithing. One man in particular said how he and his wife were teaching their three year old daughter about the principle of tithing. Mike came to me and said he felt the Lord prompting him to give our money to this man so he could in turn bless his daughter to be able to continue teaching her about tithing. I had the money in the car, but the Lord had given me a specific amount to add to it, so I went to the closest money machine and took out some more money. I went back to the gym and Mike asked this gentleman if we could talk to him. Mike introduced himself and me and said that we represented our Pastor (yes, he knows you!) and Cornerstone Church in blessing someone in our community with a seed that was given to us. He explained about the $10,000 given away last weekend and the challenge that was put before us to "Pay it Forward" and be a blessing by sowing seed into someone's life. He understood the concept fully. I handed the man the envelope and all he could say was, "Wow, Wow". He kept shaking both of our hands. He stood there very quietly for a moment and then he said, "Well you know God works in mysterious ways. My wife's cousin's little boy (three years old) was diagnosed with brain cancer after collapsing in December. He is in Children's Hospital right now having just undergone brain surgery to remove a large tumor. He will be going through radiation treatment. His family is staying at The Ronald McDonald House and they could really use this money right now. If it's okay with you, I would like to take this seed and bless this family." "Wow" is all we could say to him and thank you God! What a blessing for him to be able to turn around and bless someone else. He asked to be sure and thank you to "Pastor Ron" and Cornerstone. Thank you Pastor and Carol! You are amazing people!

I wanted to give my story being on the receiving end ...earlier in the week I had planted the seed that the church had given out ...however last night at church I was looking at the books on prayer and a gentleman walked up to me and told me that he wanted to buy me a book, anything I wanted, even two books if I wanted them. This was such a blessing!! It's been a trying week for me & my family. Our family pet died which was hard on my husband and oldest daughter; stressful days at work; plus I've stepped into a different ministry at Cornerstone and it's been such a blessing but also a struggle...God is taking me outside of my comfort zone and He's teaching me so much! Nevertheless it was such a blessing to be blessed! I'm so thankful for the gentleman that listened to God! Thank you Pastor Ron & Carol for being such a blessing to Cornerstone!

I thank God for Corner Stone Church. The church has truly been a blessing to me. I had made up in my mind on Sunday that I was not going to attend. I am so glad I did. Being a part of such an awesome experience was truly a blessing. My seed was fifty dollars. On that Sunday the Lord had spoken to me about giving a lady a seed. This was before Ron mentioned the seed. I didn't have a seed and wondered where it was going to come from. Well, God really did supply. The lady I gave the seed to was someone that I did not expect to be in attendance on that day, she was a visitor. The Lord had me to give her the seed and express my love to her. She was surprised and began to cry. I am honored to have been a part of such a blessed event, "seed offering", what a blessing. Thank you for being obedient to the Father.

I stopped at JT's Bar-B-Q in Del City for lunch today. My waitress looked to be one or two years out of high school. In my spirit, I perceived that she is spiritually hungry and searching for meaning in her life. At the end of the meal, she brought to me a to go iced tea. It was then that I told her that the $5.oo bill on the table was her tip. Then I handed her a $10.00 bill and told her that this isn't a tip but rather a gift from my church and me, because we wanted to bless you. Before I could even mention Cornerstone, she said "I will come". I identified Cornerstone and told her where we were located and again she said "I will come". I told her that God loves her and that Cornerstone stands ready to help people with their spiritual needs. Then she said "I will tell Tony and we will come". I don't know who this Tony is that she referred to. I was blessed by this brief conversation. In the name of Jesus, I claim her for the kingdom! Pastor Ron, I believe that this is a great way to plunder hell to populate Heaven. Praise the Lord!

We attended services Saturday and both my husband and I got a $10.00 envelope. We decided to pay-it-forward separately. Pastor's sermon caught me completely off guard. I admit to being a creature of habit and very set in my ways. This sermon and the pay-it-forward message have moved me in a huge way. I have always been a giver--you know the kind--you give to the school fund raiser for the kid next door, or to the fire fighter standing at the corner with his boot, but I have never really thought that much about my giving or the message that should go with it every time you give. This really shook me up and made me re-evaluate myself. I was worried that I needed to give to the right person and several people came to mind but no body that I could say for sure I should give the money to. I prayed that God would move me in the right direction. In the meantime, I talked to everyone about this wonderful message. I shared it with my friends, co-workers, parents and to the people I come into contact with for my job. Everyone has been so positive about the wonderful things Cornerstone is doing. I am certain that I have never been this vocal about church and I have really been getting this message out this week! I ended up giving the money to a woman at Sonic that was selling Sonic cards to fund a program for underprivileged kids. She came right up to me and asked me to buy a Sonic card to help pay for an after school program to help reduce the drop-out rate in Oklahoma, they were selling the cards to raise money for school supplies. I knew right then that she was the person I was supposed to bless. I told her the same story that I had been telling everyone all week about what our church was doing (paying-it-forward)and donated the $5.00 toward the card back into the program and then I gave her thirty dollars in addition to it. She started to cry and smile and said, "you know, I am too old to be surprised by what God does, thank you and your church very much." It was so touching! Thank you Pastor and Cornerstone. You have taught me how to be a blessing, sow a seed AND pay-it-forward.

I wondered who I was supposed to give my blessing to. I'd prayed about it because I work around a lot of people that could have benefited from this kind of gift. I was off work today and went up to H&H gun range where I met an out-of-work jeweler that was working there on commission. As I was admiring the work he had on display he was telling me about his hard times financially. I was excited when I realized that this was the guy I was supposed to give my ten dollars to. I gave him the ten from the church and put another ten with it. He and I talked for quite a while and he was so excited about the church that he found the map on the web page and told me he would see us at the Saturday service. Glad to be a blessing.

I received $20.00 last Sunday. At first I was certain I knew what I was going to do with my money. However, God had other plans for me. Last September I asked the church pray for a friend whose baby had some development problems inside the womb and the doctors told my friend that her baby wouldn't live and she needed to get an abortion. She didn't get an abortion because she hoped that her baby would live however, Monday she gave birth to her baby. He lived 30 minutes and then went to be with our Father in Heaven. She has had a really bad run here lately and couldn't afford to pay for the casket and other funeral arrangements. I knew then what I needed to do with my money. I gave her the the twenty dollars that I received from the church as well as added some to help with funeral cost.

I received $10 and decided to double the seed money to take my next door neighbor out to lunch. We have lived next door to each other for two years and I have never really had the opportunity to get to know her. I called and invited her to lunch and she was very surprised. We had a wonderful time visiting and talking about our families and planned to get together again soon. I arrived at the restaurant early to get us a table so she would have plenty of time to relax before returning to work. When I arrived I felt that I was suppose to give the "hostess" $10. When she seated me and I offered her the money, she was stunned and wanted to know why. I told her that my church, Cornerstone, had given its people money to do random acts of kindness. She immediately knew of our church and asked about Pastor and Ms. Carol. It turns out that she was a hostess at another restaurant that they frequented and knew them and Pastor and Ms. Carol know her by name. She was very excited and gave me a huge hug. God is so good. My seed is in the ground and I am expecting a harvest for both myself and my church!!

Daughter & Son of the Most High!

WOW! After receiving our "envelope" last Sunday, my son(12 yrs)and I immediately started praying together asking God to put us in close proximity of who HE wanted us to bless with this money. I immediately thought of two people but I wanted God to be the director of the gift not me. Everyday that had passed since Sunday, I prayed "Lord, who I can bless with this money?" Several times I had gone to Wal-mart, Crest, school, and work but nothing was laid in my spirit. But, today was different. After picking up my son from Carl Albert Middle School, I thought that I would "run" into the Crest on Douglas to get a few things while in that area anyway. I pulled into the parking lot and immediately felt as if I should have gone to the Crest on Reno. So I did exactly that. I turned into the parking lot and back out again. "Where are we going mom, I thought that we had to get a few things?" "I know, but in my heart I feel like we should be going to the other Crest." (I never have really cared for that particular Crest but I was on my way there nevertheless). After walking in, I decided to walk around a moment or two and within moments, I knew to whom I was to be a blessing. An older woman had stopped her buggy to check over a list with a little girl in tow. She didn't look too happy to be there. So off I went. I approached her and introduced myself to her. Needless to say, she did not seem too happy with me either, but I continued. I told her that I was a member of Cornerstone and that we wanted to bless her by giving her the money that I had in my envelope (20.00)and to let her know that God loves her. She still was very unsure of me when the little girl that was with her piped up and said "Granny is mad at me and she is sad." I asked her if there was anything that I could pray for her about but all I received was silence and some really strange looks. "Is this for real?" I told her "yes it is for real and I would love the opportunity to bless you." I extended the twenty dollar bill towards her and she hesitated at first but eventually took it. She looked at it several times turning it over and over in her hand. She asked if it was a fake, I smiled and said that indeed it was real! She then shared her name with me and that her mother had just passed away a couple of days ago and that she was angry. She also said that no-one had ever done anything for her and that she thought that I had wanted something in return. "No, I do not want anything from you but rather to bless you." Many tears later, she thanked me and gave me a hug and off she went with a smile on her face. Little did the woman know, that SHE was the one that had been a blessing to my son and I. What an amazing feeling and experience for my son and I. Sowing seeds of faith is all about offering seeds of encouragement and hope for anybody. "Empty me of me-Lord, so that I may be filled with YOU!"

I received $10 Sunday. God led me to multiply it by 10 & give it a a co-worker who has been off work since before Christmas due to surgery. She does not attend church & is struggling. I reminded her that God is paying attention & He cares. Thanks Pastor Ron. I had forgotten how important it is to encourage others & bless them out of our abundance.

I was prepared to take my seed money, which I assumed would be $5 and buy someone a cup of coffee. God had bigger plans for me and my seed money was $100!!! It took a couple of days of wondering what to do, where to go and who to give it to. Then I remembered there was a daycare near where I worked and I went outside and thought, "the next person who either goes inside or comes outside is the one I will give it to." A young lady came out with three children and I gave it to her. The look of surprise and shock on her face when she saw the $100 bill was fabulous. I hope she is able to use it to take care of the children. It was a great feeling giving away to others. .

Hey Cornerstone, You really blessed an elderly couple today. I knew today was the only day this week I would be out & about, so when I started out this morning I asked the Lord to show me the person he wanted me to give the money to. I had ran all my errands & my last stop was Walmart, I kept trying to make eye contact with shoppers as I went up & down the grocery isles, but everyone seemed very occupied with their shopping, just as I picked up a dozen eggs an elderly couple caught my attention, they were fussing with each other, as they stopped arguing and continued to shop I walked up and told them they didn't know me, but I went to Cornerstone Church and our church had given each of us an envelope with money so that we could each perform a random act of kindness & I had chosen them and gave them $20.00. The elderly gentleman started to cry and grabbed me and hugged my neck and then his wife joined in our group hug. All three of us just stood there & cried for a few moments. They kept thanking me. Soon we continued with our shopping. What they didn't know was our envelope had $5.00 in it and we decided to add to it so we would have personal seed also. The story doesn't end there, I was talking to my Aunt in MO and telling her what our church was doing, yes I started crying again and so was she, she said that made her day. Who knew $5.00 could bless 4 people in the same day.

I received $10 in my envelope, first off I started praying about what I could do to reach out and bless the community and spread the word of God to plant my seed. I used the10 dollars I received (along with the help of my daughter and the 20 dollars she received) as payment to make 1,000 cards with the churches name , address, phone number, website, and service times on them. With the help of my friends and family we plan to hand them out to people God puts in our path. I’m doing this in hope of leading people who don’t have a home church or who need God in their life, that this will show them there is a place where they can go and that people care and want to fellowship with them.

I received $20 in my envelope. The lord put on my heart to put add $40 with it and I gave it to a lady that rents our house. I feel that God is going to bless her with more than just $60.

When Pastor Ron started talking about sowing seed into other peoples lives I already knew who I was suppose to bless. My friends husband, Darren. I've been praying for my friend (Crystal) & her husband for several months now. A few months ago Crystal got saved at Cornerstone & has been coming ever since (she is one of the ones being baptized this month!!! Yeah!!). However Darren has vowed to never step foot in a church again. But I know we serve a God who can do exceedingly abundantly above anything we can ask or think. (Back in the fall when the connect groups started up, Darren joined our bowling team and bowled with us. He is even bowling with us when the connect groups start back up again.) I received $10.00 and went Monday evening and told Darren I needed to give him something. I gave him the $10 and he was shocked. I explain what the church was doing and that God had spoke to me and told me he was the one I needed to bless. I told him I wanted to show him the Love of God and wanted him to know that God Loves him. He didn't know what to do! Then my friend Crystal stepped in and explained to him that she got $10 as well and she was still praying about what to do with it. God is so AWESOME! Crystal has invited Darren to come see her (and their daughter, Mercedees) be baptized at church ...I'm praying that he will come. God is so Great! This was such a blessing ...I'm so grateful that we have a Pastor that listens to and obeys God!

With excitement in my nephew's voice he called to share with me how his shift at work went. He works at a local restaurant as a waiter. He is a single father with two children and is working to get back on his feet and make a life for himself and children after his battle with alcohol. As the excitement was so contagious he told me how a couple that he served had blessed him with a $50 "seed" from their church and how they believe in a harvest to come. It is exciting to see God move in our community, our families, and our church! And this also is the nephew I prayed for during our Pray Through...God is GOOD!

My Setnmotionproject.com envelope contained $10. The Lord has laid it on my heart to donate the money to Travis; Travis is in a Federal Prison, I committed to Travis several years ago to send him $1. a day so each month I send him a money order for $30. dollars, for personal hygiene products and things he might need for the month. So the first of February Travis will receive a money order for $40. Thanks to the Pay it Forward sermon and the love of God. Travis is a good man, he is a saved Christian man that knows God, God knows. I have known him for 13yrs. this year. He needs prayer for Wisdom, and Mental Health. After the sermon on Sunday I know without a doubt I’m on the right path. I’m a giver and I have been guilty of giving to the man on the corner, you just never know, when I’m in doubt I only give very little. I will send Travis a copy of this letter so he will know his God still set on the thrown, his redeemer lives and he is a blessed man. As for my Cornerstone family they had better look out because any one that blesses me or the ones I love is in for a (HUGE) very large blessing!

When Pastor started explaining the project I started praying about how much the Lord would give and how much I would add, I told the Lord that I would match whatever HE put in my hands and left it in HIS hands as to where it would go. A few people sprung to mind and I just didn't have a clue as to where to start. I $15, and so did Pat. He wanted to combine ours but I knew that I'd end up doing this by myself and didn't want him to miss what God is doing. So I told him to pray about it and he said that he already had a few people in mind also. What I did with mine. So on Monday, the LORD told me to go to Mardels, I was walking around found a few books for myself and ran across "The Power of a Praying Wife" and thought of my friend Angie, it was still on sale from Christmas. When I had bought a copy for my cousins wife, Angie said she had never heard of the book and that she needed one, so I got it for her. Then the LORD reminded me of my sister Stephanie and how her BIBLE had gotten stolen. He said "Stephanie needs a BIBLE" I said "OK, but I only have $20 left for it (it's been so long since I have bought a BIBLE, I didn't know what they ran any more) can we get a good one for $20?" He said "GO LOOK" Now you have to understand my struggle, a BIBLE is a personal thing to me and I was looking for a pink prissy BIBLE that maybe said "princess" because that's my sister. I found one..$14.99 I said "YEA!! the LORD said "NO, This one. Plain, black leather, gold trim.....huh? "THIS ONE".."BUT LORD...." "I am trying to do something here.. (He told me what but it's personal and I am not going to share that part) so I said "OK" " He said "put her name on it" ..""alright" I did. So when I gave it to her she was shocked. She said that she had been reading her husbands BIBLE and that her 2 yr old daughter had just last night spilled pop right in the middle of it and it was ruined. She said that no one had ever bought her a BIBLE, and certainly never had one with her name on it. When she asked why, I got to tell her. She went around showing everyone her new BIBLE. Yesterday when I seen her at my cousins house she had her Bible....When I told Angie that I got her that book she was so excited. She just couldn't believe that a church and people who didn't know her could or would care about her needs. What Pat did with his. He an I talked about his, he said that when Pastor was talking about what we were to do, he thought of two people. My grandmother and my oldest sister...but the more he thought about it the focus went to my oldest sister, who has left her husband, with her 2 children. She is struggling, has just found a job, has no car because her husband stole it from her, very little clothes, and that's it. So Pat said he wanted to get her some dishes and pans, kitchen things. So we did and I took them over to her after I dropped off her kids from school, I'm their ride since David stole the car. She almost cried, said they only had 4 plates to share between 7 people and wanted to know why. I told her and she said to tell you all THANK YOU!!! Her kids were the ones that came to church with me last wednesday. They are so scared and confused and could use all the prayers any of you would pray. THANK YOU!!

God is definitely so good!!! I just finished reading the stories and it gave me goose bumps to know that Cornerstone has touched not only our lives but those who were blessed. We were at a restaurant yesterday and there were several military personnel having their lunch. As we left to pay for our meal (and someone else's) the military people came up to pay their bill. I explained to them that Cornerstone was reaching out to our community and we always love blessing our military people and we would be honored to help pay a portion of their bill. The look on that young man's face was nothing short of glorious!! His response was "Thank you so much - what a great church!!" Amen -We thanked them for serving their country and agree we do have the best of the best and we are so blessed to be lead by Pastors who lead from their knees - we love you Cornerstone!! Here's to our victories great and small!!

When Pastor explained what his plans were for us to do with the envelopes, there was one person that immediately came to mind. She is a coworker of mine and is a widowed, single mother. When I approached her about church, she told me that her daughter went to church with friends, but that she did not go; however, no explanation was provided as to why. She has been struggling financially and spiritually for many years, which is why I chose her as the recipient of the envelope. I explained to her what the project was all about, and she became humbled that I chose her and then refused to accept the envelope. I simply told her that God has blessed me and my family, and the Bible said that we are called to be a blessing to others. I also explained that my husband and I have been (and still are) praying and believing for a specific blessing in our lives, and that this was the way we knew how to be a blessing to others. I just told her that I wanted her to be blessed like I'd been blessed, and this was the best way to start.

I look forward to her being stretched, and completely taken outside of her comfort zone, and I'll continue to pray that God works on her heart and show her that He is the way, the truth and the life! Maybe she'll attend church with us one day!

We received 15 dollars as seed money. When we were driving away from church, we prayed and asked God to show us what He wanted us to do with the money and declared what harvest we are believing Him for in our lives. We decided to add 35 dollars to it and take a special person that came to my mind to dinner and bless her with a 50 dollar bill. We took her out to dinner today and after we ate and were preparing to leave the restaurant, we gave her a card and envelope that we prepared with the bill in it. When she opened it she was very surprised and said that she was going to buy groceries with it. She asked why we did it and we told her about the message that Pastor Ron presented last weekend and that the gift was from Cornerstone Church and us because we wanted to bless her. She talked about how she didn't know how she could "pay it forward" as well and I told her that she already does all the time by the selfless way that she cares for an elderly relative, as well as many other things that she does. It is a blessing to be able to touch her life today with the love of God.

We decided to give the $100 to our granddaughter's teacher. She is pregnant, and we had overheard a conversation that led us to believe she could use a blessing. When we told her Cornerstone wanted to bless her and handed the $$ to her, she burst into tears. Her baby is due this month, and she had just found out that her insurance has been cancelled. It felt so good to see her blessed this way! Thank you Cornerstone for using us this way.

Jeff and I each had the same person on our hearts to give our money to. Jeff suggested we combine our envelopes and give the money to that person, who happens to be one of my co-workers whom I had been witnessing to and praying for. We added our own seed to the money and gave it to her. At first she just looked at me and asked why I was doing this. I told her that Cornerstone wanted to sow a seed in our community and that Jeff and I love her and want her to be blessed. She teared up and and didn't know what to say. This is a very dear lady who can truly use the money. A few minutes later she returned the envelope to me with instructions to give it to our oldest daughter who has just recently moved into her own apartment. I jokingly told her that's not how this is suppose to work. She looked at me and said "You gave the money to ME, right? It's MY money and I want to bless Mandy." At this point I was able to share with her a little more about sowing seed. I was so blessed to be able to witness to her a little more about what God is willing and able to do if we just let Him. She was tickled beyond all measure to be able to participate in the fun of being able to bless someone else and experience "Sowing a Seed".

Wow! What a blessing it is to be a blessing to someone else! Pastor Ron & Carol, you are an amazing couple. We (Cornerstone Family) are so very blessed to have you as our leaders. My husband and I very much love to give things to others in need! Sometimes though, times are kind of tough and we always tend to want to just keep those things for ourselves but there is always something in the back of our minds (Gods voice) that says just give it away! My husband is writing his own story about his envelope, but here is mine. We have a very dear Christian friend that has lost her husband to a drug addiction. She is raising three children on her own on a hairdressers salary. I felt so compelled to give it to her and when I approached her I told her a little bit about what was going on and what we were doing at Cornerstone. She immediately started to cry. It feels so amazing to be able to just touch one persons life like that. She text me later and said Thank you so very much and I love you! God is so good!
God Bless!!

seeing people getting laid off at his job, he worries. Yes, he does belief the Lord will provide, but as brothers and sisters in Christ we still need to lift one another up when a member of God's family is discouraged. Instead of quoting scripture to my brother telling him that God's Word says He will provide, I wanted him to see God's Word in my actions that YES He does provide for his children. I wanted to be a doer of God's Word for my brother. So I sent $100.00 to my brother with a letter stating in the letter that the Lord enjoys a cheerful giver, but He also enjoys a cheerful receiver. I told my brother in the letter that whatever need he was lacking that with this gift that I sent him that I hope his need was met and may he be truly blessed by our Heavenly Father.

Pastor McKey, thank you and who ever else that helped you come up with this idea for Cornerstone Church because it shows one's obedience to the Lord if one followed through with the requirements that you laid out before the congregation.

God Bless!

I've struggled over what to do with my seed money. (I wanted to make sure I planted it in good soil and not on rocky ground.) I finally decided I was over thinking it and decided to just be open to God's leading. A few minutes later, a new employee in my office came by to visit and she shared that right before Christmas her husband was laid off and she was not working when he was laid off. They have struggled, but both are working now and are looking forward to things getting better soon. I knew I had found my blessing! I gave her the $10 and added some to it. She was speechless, teared up and said I had no idea how much it meant to her and her family. I explained that Cornerstone wanted to be a blessing to her. She left with a huge smile on her face. This is fun! I might start giving out money all the time!

We are so impressed with this project and we have spread the word today and all they can say is Wow, that is so impressive and so very cool. We both received a $10.00 bill and I asked God to guide me to who can use this money the most and God told me to take it to my husband's 87 year old father who lives on social security / disability income. After he meets all his financial obligations he only has $4.00 left each month. We immediately went to his house and caught him just getting home from church. David handed him the money and explained why and we saw a tear in his eye and he said "Thank you son so much". David and his dad have not been getting along lately so hopefully this can mend some hurting hearts and bring family back together. Thank you Cornerstone for this great gift of kindness and blessings to all.

I got an envelope with $10.00 in it. After church I went across the street to 7-eleven and bought two teenagers drinks and a snack. Gave the rest of the money to the cashier and told her it was from our church and asked her to come over and give our church a try.
She said O. K.

As soon as Pastor gave the challenge, I knew immediately who I wanted to bless. Being a teacher, I see students struggle everyday without parental support. One child in particular is so eager to learn, he wants homework every weekend so he can continue his learning. Therefore, I took the $10 I received and went to Dollar Tree. I bought him math flashcards, pencils, crayons, colored pencils, reading workbooks, and a few other things. These items will remain at his house. I know he will be truly honored and grateful that someone thought of him. I am eager to tell him that I and a whole congregation are praying for him daily.

Stephanie

Hello Everyone,
After leaving church on Saturday night, I stopped at the Dollar General Store. As I was purchasing some items, I felt lead to give the $15.00 that was given to me from Cornerstone to the cashier. I told her that I just left church and was given this money to bless someone else with. Before I could finish explaining myself, the cashier had came from behind the counter and started hugging me. I told her that I pray that this money will be a blessing for you. She was very thankful... I would like to thank Cornerstone for blessing me with this opportunity to be a blessing to someone else. I felt truly blessed from the hug that I received from the cashier. Words can not express the wonderful feeling that was felt from that hug. My prayer is that God will continue to use me to plant many more seeds. Amen!

God Bless,

Dennis

I have a lady at the storage I work at who did not get her social security check this month. She had to reapply for another check and will not receive it until this Friday. She called to let me know what was going on with her check, so I asked her if she goes to church anywhere and she said not since they've moved here. So I told her that I would like to bless her with some money if she would come by to see me. I told her that my church, Cornerstone, was planting seed for our harvest and that I would like to bless her with $30.00. Twenty that I had gotten from the church and $10.00 of my own seed. Her husband is disable and she has an 11 year old daughter. I invited them to church. She was Blessed and so was I. God is good!!!

I got a 10.00 dollar envelope & my daughter got a 5.00 dollar envelope. We decided to put our money together. My husband & I were at Denny's having breakfast and saw a couple with a beautiful baby. We decided to bless them and pay for their breakfast. My husband went go over and shared with the family what we wanted to do for them. My husband says that it was a little awkward. Many times in the past he has paid for strangers' meals yet never approached and let them know who was blessing them and why. This felt awkward yet he did it. He approached them, introduced himself, and told them how we and Cornerstone Church wanted to be a blessing to them. At first the couple was cautious and told him thanks but it would be better for him to bless someone that was needy. He told them that we as a church give to the needy but this was above and beyond that. They smiled, accepted the blessing and said thank you. Boy, God does want to stretch us! Pastor Thanks so much for listening and obeying God. It was fun to be able to bless someone just because and to show them that God cares about them.

I opened my envelope and found $15. I was grocery shopping at Crest and had prayed before I went in about where to sow our seed. I saw a boy about 14 when I went in and I thought to myself, he doesn't look very happy. But I went on about my shopping. Later on I saw the same boy and felt the Holy Spirit nudge me. I went over to the boy and his mother. I said this may sound strange, but my church is sowing seed into our community and I wanted to bless you and let you know that God loves you. They both stood there with their mouths hanging open and as I turned to leave the mom told me God bless you. Nothing spectacular, but I had Holy Ghost goosebumps, so I know it was the right thing to do.

Dear Pastor & Carol,
I prayed over the gift we received this Sunday and I was lead to give it to my husband. Though he comes to church with me, because he sees me happy to come and worship God. I was given a message for husband that since we are one we should worship together. I am praying that God heal his heart and give it to God. After I gave it him, he said give it to someone else, such kindness. I about 1 hour later a lady came by and gave us exactly the same amount. I prayed again and will distribute it to another person. God is good!!!

Aariss & Tom

Aariss and I opened our envelopes Sunday afternoon after getting them Saturday night. 1 envelope had $100 dollar bill, the other a $5 dollar bill. We wanted to give together as a family and decided that the grocery store was the best place. So later that afternoon we went to Crest, over on Douglas, and prayed that God would show us whom He wanted us to give this money to. We put our boys in a cart and began wandering the store and realizing that everyone could use this money, but knew that God had someone special in mind. Sure enough we happened upon a young Mexican girl in the store with 2 little girls in their cart and a older lady pushing it. We stopped to see where they were going and then followed them to the juice isle. I went up to them and asked if I could talk to them for a minute. I introduced myself and my family, told them we wend to Cornerstone Church and told them that God loves them, He cares for them and cares about what's going on in their lives. I told them that God has blessed me and my family and we wanted to be a blessing to them. As I reached in my pocket to pull out the money, the young lady said "oh, we don't need that, we're fine", but I insisted that they take it as we wanted to bless them. I asked who the family was and she explained that 1 of the little girls was hers and the other belonged to her sister and the older lady was her grandma. So I turned to grandma and gave her the money, explaining again how God has blessed my family and that God loves them. Grandma, with tears running down her face, said "how did you know we needed food"? I told her that WE didn't, but that we had prayed that God would show us someone in this store filled with people who would take $105 dollars, who HE really knew would be blessed. So, with grandma in tears and young granddaughter in shock (mouth open and all) we sowed our seed and left the store for home...the best trip to the store we've ever made!

Gary

I received a $15 envelope put $20 with it and gave to a single mom. It made a real impression that a church would give money in such an unusual way. Maybe it shouldn't be unusual but it is. Fantastic idea/principal! Glad I could be a part of it.

Cornerstone Member

As I waited to get an envelope I thought, "Who will I bless with the money?" As I thought about this I believe the Lord put a specific Mid Del High School Vice Principle in my heart. I thought, "It would be nice to bless the VP with $100.00 dollars, but what if I don't get a 100.00 dollar envelope?" I purposed in my heart what ever I got I would make up the difference. I got the honor of delivering 100.00 dollars to this Vice Principle and let him know how thankful I and Cornerstone Church are for his commitment and service to our community and kids. He told me that he has been thinking how he can put the money to good use, thinking about putting the money right back into our kids in his High School, kids that might have a specific need. Wow, when I heard his words it only confirmed that he was the right one and would Pay the good deed forward. Thanks Pastor for giving me seed to sow. Our Community and Church is blessed to have you and Ms. Carol.

Tony
The Envelope had $5.00. I added $20.00 to it. I gave it to a young man and told him Cornerstone Church wanted to bless him. I have been praying for salvation for this young man for quite a while.
The gift meant allot to him. He was thankful we thought of him and wanted him to be blessed.
I felt like we needed to add more seeds for the crop we planted. Pastor said to plant seeds for something to be done. We have had our house on the market for a almost three months. And we really need for things to get worked out for us by April of this year. Will get back with the progress.

Once I received the seed money given to me I took some time to decide how it would best be put to use. I have a friend who is going into surgery shortly and her insurance will not pay for all of her expenses. I am taking the $5 seed money and adding $1495.00 to pay for her surgery. When I explained to her how God has used the church to start this project she was thrilled. She would not accept my part until I explained to her that it is God's money and I was just holding it for this operation. Her eyes have now been opened up too the goodness of our Lord and his family. Thank you for this opportunity to share my good fortunes with one less fortunate but still a child of God.

I passed my $10.00 on to a church member that I knew was struggling financially. It was a joy to be of help. Thanks Cornerstone for the opportunity to be a part of this seed planting project.

Air Force
I have an airman in my office who is being discharged from the military for disciplinary reasons. She is an excellent worker, and great with the public, but has made some poor decisions. I felt she was who I was to give the blessing seed to. I also felt I should add to it. Monday morning, as I thought about her and her plight, the thought occurred to me, maybe we could take her back on as a civilian in my office. When I spoke to the civilian hiring agent, he said we did have a civilian position, and the person who was in it had just called that morning to tell him she would not be able to return to work after an illness. I don't think I would have considered this option for her if I had not already been thinking about her and planning on giving her the blessing seed gift. God works in mysterious ways.

Sue Ellen & Josh
My husband and I both received envelopes. For his envelope ($10.00), we gave it at Golden Corral to our 'waiter' separate from his tip. We told him it was a gift from our church, and he seemed extremely surprised and almost shocked at how random it was. I am sure it made his day because I am sure he works hard at that buffet. That job must be demanding so that little gift must have been a nice surprise to him. For my envelope, I had five dollars. I decided to spend it on a calling card to a wounded military person overseas in the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. Then I thought: You know what? I want to give more! I bought 40 Global calling cards, 2 Micro fleece jackets and pants for women, 4 pullover hoodies for men, 2 pairs of athletic running shoes (one for a man, one for a woman), and 6 beautiful T-shirts for women that say this message on it: Yes, I'm a princess..my father is the king of Kings! I also donated $100.00 to the Wounded Warrior Project, and that money goes to giving a wounded military person a backpack full of stuff like toiletries, a CD player and other personal items. I had so much fun doing this, and prayed over my gifts. I was overwhelmed with tears of happiness as I thought about how far and wide these gifts will reach. I couldn't believe that those 5 dollars that were given to me by the church would multiply to almost $700 worth of gifts for those who need it. I feel so incredibly happy. I can not describe the feeling. Thank you for opening our eyes, we can give more than we think we can. We can do more than we believe we can. All we have to do is take the initiative to say I CAN, and I WILL. All we have to do is think beyond ourselves and transcend and transform into a giver, a friend of God and mankind. Thank you so much for the ministry. What a beautiful testimony for us in our lives.

Before the bucket came our way, I knew to whom we were going to bless. I had heard of a need with her vehicle late Friday afternoon. We added to the 100.00 from Cornerstone and planted the seed so this person could continue to go to and from work.

April
About a year or so ago I went to the emergency vet clinic with my puppy she had caught parvo and I had to have her put to sleep. Well at the time I could barley afford the cost for the office visit. There just so happened to be a very kind lady in the room next to me that heard what was going on and paid to have my dog put to sleep. She wouldn't give me her name or let me thank her in person. So on Sunday I wrote a letter telling about my story and how thankful I was to this stranger. I took the letter to the clinic and paid the money I received from services Saturday night on a couples bill who brought their dog in that was having trouble delivering her puppies. They did not know what I was doing and I don't even think they would remember seeing me. They were very upset about their own situation so I hope my small act of kindness gave them some relief that day. This was my first time attending Cornerstone I was very impressed with how friendly and willing to help the members of the church were. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you

Danielle
First let me start by saying I am so blessed to be a part of this amazing church!!! :)
When I received the money to take part of this project, I was very nervous ...I know all the money we have is from the Lord, but this money was REALLY from the Lord ...straight from His house! I kept thinking what a huge responsibility this was. I kept prayed God would show me how to use this money wisely, as I couldn't think of anything "spiritual enough" to do with it. As it turned out, He opened the door for me to bless a woman who is struggling financially. She has two small children and her husband is overseas. She just joined my local Bible study and did not have enough to cover the cost of the book. She had made a partial payment and the amount in my envelope was enough to cover the entire amount.
God is SO good!!!
